  4. no idea .. but expect the top speed to be down a bit... The fastest i've driven my car was 180km/h but that was before turbo..

  6. Yes I did lose out a bit. But the trust airfilter helped me gain back the loss.

  8. it's much noisier than standard. the exhausts noise has been toned down a bit after the turbo. But the engine noise is definetly louder, especially when the turbo spools up. Not srue for the TTE s/c, but our SLK230 wasn't noisy with the s/c thus I assume TTE to be a quiet modification.
  9. Ok added a fuel pump and fuel pressure. Now the cars has : 137.8kw at the rear wheels with about 1100Nm of torque. Stage one figure : 128.2kw at rear wheels with 985.9Nm Original figures with airfilter and exhaust : 80.2kw at rear wheels with 582.8Nm ------------------------------------------------ No 0-100km/h times yet coz I still haven't picked up my car.. I test drove it today and felt more power in the middle band. But the fuel pump is acting a bit noisy, so see how everything goes tomorrow. Then the car is to be taken back to retune when the chief/owner mechanic gets back from o/seas, then we are hoping to squeeze out an extra 3kw at the rear weels to take it up the magic 140kw at rear wheels (GTR33 standard).   11. I heard from my friend TRD has produced a turbo kit for the IS200 (AS200).. Not sure if this is true or not.. coz i can't find any info on it. Keep you guys posted
  12. correct. 4.7 is good for manual 5.1 good for auto also note speed limit on roads. I lay with 0-100km/h more than 1/4 mile thus i chose 5.1
  13. I can ask around for the diagrams. But im sure your lexus dealer should have the wiring diagrams. Not everything can be solved by computer.

  15. I believe someone has done this conversion in Melbourne already. Purchased a track Altezza from Japan (Wrecked) and bolted engine onto IS200. It's a Yellow IS200 is all I know. But this is illegal to do so i think. There has also been a conversion done in taiwan as well. [Edited on 8-3-2002 by TRD328]
  16. Ok we had our 3rd meet in melboune today 3/03/03. Place was a Yarra park (KEW) this is a strecth of road comprised mainly of twist and turns.   17. i already have the pssht from the natural blow off. If i add the bov and my boost pressure isn't high enough there won't be a pshttt..
  18. I had this conversion done to my car roughly 2 years ago by my lexus mechanic. So far no problem. But there is a law stating how many lights are allowed to be on at once for breaking. Thus my lexus service manager said "if the cops pull you over, say you know nothing".
  19. so do u think i should get a BOV? I already have a HKS SQV BOV but not yet paid.
  20. My gf would rather chuck me out.. not joking. Im thinking of putting a bov on my car but the turbo mechanics say the bov won't work coz it's an auto. But my friends say it'll work if I just lift of the gas. What do you guys think? I mean the BOV is there to take away the turbo pressure, but I already have a natural blow off from the airfilter. So is it necessary to add bov? BOV= blow off valve
