well you remember the IS200-IS300 conversion? The twin turbo one? I rang them up today asking about our engine internals and Ray Hall said our conrods are ***** weak.... size of our finger he said.. The story is he was going to do a turbo conversion for the IS200, he sent the pistons to America to be made up and ordered Altezza conrods from Toyot Japan. But he scraped the project and went ahead with the supra swap. Thus he now has around 8 sets of pistons & conrods for sale.. actually he is trying to get rid of them. Price wise Im waiting for reply.. but he said the pistons should be around $1000 and pistons "a couple of hundred dollars" so I would assume $1400-1600 AUD or 531.54-607.47 british pounds

don't worry about what i posted.. some news. .I can get a few sets of JE forged pistons (made for our car) and altezza conrod in Australia. Seeing how many are interested in the UK.. if so maybe we can get a cheaper purchase... put you names down here if you are!

cwest kit coming into melbourne end of June.

the car is running with 140.8kw at rear wheels now... im trying to find the graph for the readings.. but not sure where i put it.. might have to get AVO to post it on their site... the newer graph should be more smooth coz the other graphs i have on hand with less power have a very smooth line... the above graph is with the fuel pump and not yet tuned. as for the rpm.. i think the final gear changed that a bit... don't you have to dyno the car to tune the SC?

here's what i'd suggest without boosting the car.. Exhaust.. get a quiet one like the TOMS barrel or TRD. Air filter.. SARD and TRD make replacebale filters for the IS200 and once you have more money.. headers, and final gearing would be a good combo.. or you can go with a SAFC...

the filter would be to hard to make as the removal of the engine cover is required.. hence an ugly appearance.. my trust filter with custom made piping is simlar to the HKS one

Rs200 should do the 0-100km/h dash in around mid 7 secs. With some NA tuning I've seen numbers go down to 6.28sec For IS200/AS200 models expect the auto to do 11sec, MT 9.5sec Supercharged IS200/AS200 times around 5.9sec- 8 sec depending on mods Turbo IS200 around 6.6sec-8.5sec both auto times.
