roughly how much does it cost to install pistons and rods? what should also be done during the installation? ie engine balancing? Currently im quoted AUD $3000 - $4000ish to install... My pistons has been sitting in the garage for 2 months now ... where has all my money gone?? :o

im using TRD pads and brake lines.. Much better stopping power.

tdiplc, you guys should get some forged pistons and rod kit out for the S/C guys.. im sure there are a few who would like to get into the low 5sec bracket... as for me i still haven't installed the pistons yet.. no money :(

fuel pump is a bosche item.. im getting a new one coz the current one is noisy as hell. The fuel pump was required when i was running 8psi, but now the car is back to 5psi.

no additional injectors for me, just a fuel pump and the LINK ECU takes care of everything for the moment. But I'll be needing bigger injectors once I've installed the pistons. boost babe boost!!!!!!!

HEy TDI.. I have a Bosh fuel pump that makes this ANNOYING buzzing electric sound that's bloody loud.. Can you recommend a fuel pump for the IS200 that is quiet? Is it the fuel pump problem or the wiring?? -

nah the manifolds are different so it has to be a complete custom job once again.

on your way to TTE would it just so happen that a supercharger might just find it's way into a backpack?. Then suddenly find a way in a box flying to Australia?? IS TTE making a Supercharger just for the UK IS300? I heard this from my dealer.

i got my car in 1999 for AUD$68K and now Lexus would take it back for $36K... all the modifications don't mean much to Lexus, as it's hard to find a buyer for a modified car.

yes, Ray Hall got them made by JE in America, as for the conrods they are from another toyota engine in the 1g engine family.
