Zee & I were talking to somebody from Lexus UK about this a few months ago. They confirmed Janspeed has fitted a couple of superchargers and were testing reliability and heat build up as this was Lexus UK's main concern (the heat). If these trials went ok Lexus UK would look at offering these through Janspeed, not heard anything to confirm this report though, shall have to do some digging around.

Quick update on behalf of Mat (still no internet)..... Monster is now insured & MOT'd Mat is taking it back to TDI on Saturday for the rear dif to be solid mounted in preparation for GT Battle

Monster in 1/4 action: Monster in Action thread

Mat ran the Monster on the 1/4 strip for the first time on Monday. Was unable to launch hard due to dif moving amd additional mapping in low gears is required which TDI are planning to do on the road. Best time of the day was 13.4 seconds, speed was 115.94mph when crossing the 1/4 mile line. Speed at the 1/8 mile was 87.68mph. Good times I am sure you will agree for a car still under development and for Mat still getting used to it. I am sure Mat has a 12 second street car (with street tyres) on his hands

Mat and I were talking to organizers of GT Battle on Monday. They have invited Mat and the monster to the top cars area and the sprint challenge. They mentioned Oli in reference to a club stand etc.

Mat has just driven up a hill, put his foil helmet on, stuck his phone aerial on top of that and rang me. Not exactly good reception in Warminster apparently He said he will call you in the morning Mark :)

Is the 18" rim standard (i.e. not a factory option or an aftermarket rim)? REason for asking is that Elephant will only cover standard parts (they term standard as non-optional parts). Had a few discussions with them about this subject. -

You have not locked the boot using the key have you?

One thing to think about though is if the law changes this year as they are planning them actual detectors will no longer be legal. The only legal devices with be GPS systems. So if you have the Origin B2 you can just unplug the radar detector but I am not sure if you can do this with other units. I have a B2 and am very happy with the unit :)
