Ack... I know the feeling However.. there is a solution and it workd great... I have a special 0870 number that goes straight into music... then i have a special recorded message asking for the name of the person... then the system calls me and tells me the persons name and where there from... then i have a choice of wether to pick the phone up or not... usually not. If not then it goes into answer machine mode where it emails me a WAV file of the message. Sweet eh.. and all for £10 a month... so i always dodge those pesky YP salesman. I got ripped off one for £400 when a magazine company went bust... i swore never to buy anything over the phone again. Another tip... when the person is on the phone talking... either ask them to hold or put them on secrecy and then put the phone down.... they will never know you have put the phone down and they will sit there for 15 mins waiting.... that makes me laugh because they are usally still in the system and I make 2 pence a miniute from the call.... great beer money!

Don't you hate it when people sell your telephone number and end up in the hands of con men. I had a call from one of those american lottery bodies that claim you will win loads and stuff... then ask for your credit card. Well fortuantly the guy caught me at the wrong time and had some abuse Nothing is safe nowdays... I am ex direcotory but but number gets sold off the net. I usually gie out my 0870 number especially for the net.. but a few slipped by. What is the biggest con you have ever seen?

We are looking to build a workshop manual into our membership packs over the next coming months. We are despratley seeking members to submit how to's to the club to add into the members manual. We are starting to make the Is200 and the GS300/430 workshop members manual These are not like Haynes manuals... these are all tips and how to's that are based in the workshop forums and all topics dicussed in these forums over the last 9 months... we then share these tips into a members manual. All tips and how to's should be sent to editor@lexusownersclub.com and will be added to the to the manual when we publish it to members. We would really appreciate anything from members to add to our worthy members manual. cheers

Adeyb If you do not like what you read then why do you bother reading all the posts. If you do not like the way the forum is structured and how it is moderated then I suggest you go somehwere else. I used to work for Texaco years ago in a busy garage... everyday we used to get someone come in and moan that the car wash has scratched the car... I have never been in a car wash The best ones i found was in the states... they where all done by hand... from hoover.. to wash.. to a quick wax over and air freshner inside... wow what a service

No.. Javadude.. you have got the wrong end of the stick I added this becasue i noticed Blasphemy in some posts and being religious background myself I took offence to it. I also did this to protect the feelings of other people. If you want me to remove the cesor then thats entirely up to you.. but if these words are used blasphemous then try not to get to upset.
