Nice work on that Rad, it looks great as was the bonnet :) What was the cost of the Radiator? Would he need the old Rad to make it ?

I would personally only use what Toyota recommend mate. I think they sell a 5 litre pack at about £45 plus V.A.T or if they are willing to sell it to you in your own container maybe for a cheaper price per litre ?

Good job matey, I am also a fan of the TRD rear skirt, especially after seeing what Patrik did to his with black in the centre section. I guess you will be replacing the mesh with something finer ?

I would love to polish up the charger and visible pipework at some point. I will be after pointers later in the year :)

Good luck with that job matey, very tight in there. I know it's easy with hindsight to have bought the cable, sometimes people are determined to D.I.Y when a fairly cheap tried & trusted solution is available. If you can leave it about 2-3 weeks I don't mind coming over to help if you need it ?

I believe my HKS FCD is on either 10 or 11, I went up a click or two and it seemed to run better. Hope you get this sorted Patrik, this must be very frustrating :shutit:

Yes it is my car, when I explained the application the guy was very interested in how I got on. I sent him a pic & gave him permision to use it but only for the same one that I had bought. The hoses were a very tight fit, but other than that it is all in my thread linked above. He has made slight error in his listing, there are 3 mounting points not four on that particular cooler.

Hi Guys & Gals :) I have been away from LOC for what has seemed to me like an age (when in reality it has only been about 7-8 weeks) There are a few reasons why I have been away, the main one being a close Family member has been (& still is) seriously unwell. Hopefully things will get better in that area over the coming months, I am remaining hopeful. On top of this, work has been a major struggle since around late September time, and I have been working hard to get this back to a some kind of reasonable level. Friends on LOC & friends away from the club have seen how busy I have been with my lack of contact with them during this time. Hopefully things will now start to improve, albeit slowly at first over the coming weeks. With regards to work, I have got lots of temporary cover gigs over the next couple of weeks that will take up much of my time, this is on top of my regular stuff, but I will be posting, & continuing to answer the stereo questions I receive via pm (as I still have done even when I haven't had the time recently to post). I have missed greatly the fun & friendly banter on the forum, I haven't been to a LOC Meet since the one in the Midlands that Kazi organised & many of us attended back in January (? ). I do wish to thank all the people who have contacted me via pm, text, or email etc to ask where I have been. I really appreciate it, thank you all :) Any other issues regarding my absence from LOC are now in the past, which is exactly where they will remain. They will not be discussed here. I am looking forward to a nice summer, the weather is finally getting warmer, and (time permitting) that means some of the little jobs I have wanted to do to the car will be getting done, then some cleaning & polishing, then just enjoying driving my car, pumping some choons, getting along to LOC meets, & having some fun is what is generally on the cards, which really is IMO what LOC is all about :D regards Wozza :)

What I hope everyone realises including Barrie is that I am in no way upset about no longer being a moderator. What I am hurt by is certain things were said about me by a senior moderator, and when asked for facts none were forthcoming. I am led to believe via Barries PM that the descision was made late last year but then says "only came to the conclusion quite recently" Now to that I have no choice but to believe the muck slinging in the mods room that I asked for clarification of may well have had an input on that final decision, and tbh wouldn't agree with a mods saying it wasn't after tonights performance. It's a matter of principal for me, when you make a statement about me, you either back up what you are saying by facts, or you remove the remarks and apologise for them. Neither of which has been done. That just isn't right :( Barrie stated in his reply suggest you should have asked janey at the time Go look in the mods room Barrie (I'm losing count of how many times you have been wrong tonight now....). I did ask. I got a short sharp reply from Janey with no mention of an answer to the question asked. The reply started along the lines of "you don't get it do you ?" So I actually did ask Janey, then later in my pm in reply to you I asked again. I guess politely asking questions gets no answers except a quick "don't let the door hit our backside on the way out". It was blatant yet yourself and Janey had this brought to your attention not just by me but by other club members who could see what he was up to, yet you seemed his advertising was within the rules. Utter nonsense. If anyone else had done it you would have acted. Is that because of your now very friendly status with Pro-Lex as he was actively encouraging everyone to go there too ? Is there any particular reason why some of his posts have now been changed (one even attempting to trade!!!)? Dare I even suggest a cover up ? Yet you wonder why I along with other club members are offended at the double standard and bring it to attention on a thread ? Especially when we are told by Janey to "shut up an say nothing !" There was never a few occasions, just the one regarding a long phone call about TDi upon Marks return. Regarding the Mark TDi issue, having posted, I then in the moderators room gave you my word I wouldn't reply again to any of Marks threads. I am a man of my word am I not ? The reason I reacted to Mark is he was downright calling me a liar on the forum. He did the same to you if you remember rightly (as I am sure other members do). Sorry but I won't sit down for liars. Never have, never will. Tonight changed all that then Barrie :) No Barrie, it was me that asked, but go ahead and do it in the open rather than via pm as previously asaked. Throw more muck if you like. I do love this one, I asked Janey in the mods room to explain this but again she didn't. Same as the 2 seperate occasions in the moderators room she accused me of aggressive posts on the forum, yet again no links were forthcoming. I am not a saint, nor pretend to be one, if you accuse me of something, at least provide me with some kind of proof of what I am being accused of. That is only fair. That is all I have ever asked for...... these are just a few recieved received directly through the pm system i was and still am very reluctant to have posted these up i believe if i had recieved them against me i would be a very upset knowing Wozza as i thought i did, i decided he didnt need to see them again and especially in public Don't kid me you are reluctant to post them up, they are the same things Janey posted in the mods room, when asked to qualify any of them she didn't do so. If you were so reluctant to post them you wouldn't have. You would have instead just simply pm'd me along with what they were connected with, something you still have failed to do when I asked via pm, instead you chose to post them. This could go on forever backwards & forwards, but I am drawing the line, members have asked me to post what happened. I have explained it & also my main reason for not having the time to post on LOC. I will let them make up their own minds as to conclusions they draw from this thread and your posts :winky:

I could answer this but quite frankly looking at your responses to club members tonight, it seems quite obvious the respect you have for other club members who dare to ask a civil question. Hmm, where have I thought that before...... I was under the impression you are part of the management team ?? yet when asked politely for evidence of this I got no reply, infact I was fobbed off with......... At no point did I ask in my message to be reconsidered for rejoining the Moderating Team. All I asked for was this.... It's pathetic & pitiful. This has had to have been brought forward in time to tonight due to members getting warned for what is in reality just standing up for me in my absence. It isn't fair for anyone to get a warning whilst sticking up for me. My continued absence from LOC has been due to a few reasons. 1. a member of my family is seriously ill and tbh is a much more important issue than any of this. Personal friends (but not all) were aware of this being the main reason for my absence from LOC. I had been logging in purely to answer the usual members questions regarding Stereo's etc & not surfing topics at all. 2. People who I thought were close friends made me feel like I was being hounded out of the moderating team. This went on from approx November time onwards. I had asked for statements about myself in the moderating room to be backed up yet the person concerned did not do so. 3. When I had been returned to "normal" club member status all I asked as you can all plainly see for some clarification of what Janey had directly accused me of, and what the "dubious posts" were. I at no point asked to rejoin the Moderating Team. All I asked for were perfectly polite questions to which I believe I am entiled answers. 4. When it became blatantly clear I was not going to get any answer to those questions tbh I wasnt angry, just quite hurt that muck slinging goes on from people I formerly counted as friends, and yet when asked politely for proof, I am told So throw the mud 'tll it sticks, then play the "It's my football and if I can't be goalie I'm going home" routine. Furthermore I havent spoken to Cous3 since the Ace Cafe meet in December. I have not instigated this thread nor also the one one the other forum. I became aware of the other thread yesterday, I became aware of this thread when mesaged on Facebook this afternoon. Several people have called me about it and also MSN'd me. I'm afraid it is yet another thing you have wrong Barrie. (along with not being bitter...read the email to Gord, along with no high horse, along with no rant). By all means gloss over the quote (this was when I was a member of the Moderating Team) and this question If it Waynes identity isn't an issue, then why the secrecy by yourself & Janey towards a fellow moderator ? Also why were myself and 2 other members (to my knowledge, maybe more I do not) told via pm to basically shut up & leave LeXLover001 alone when it seemed we were asking too may pertinent questions as to the his identity ?

you may not have been personally lied to, however the guy openly lied about his profession to other LOC members, and led discussions in certain directions with his comments towards members cars......

kinda funny that Janey told me no-one knew who they guy was
