    Heya, Having gone through many posts...there is a baffling amount of tools to select from. Would appreciate some advise on the minimal products required to protect, clean and maintain the new IS250 when it arrives... 1/ To wash - Sonus Wash Shampoo? 2/ Do i need a clay bar if its new? 3/ Polishes - such a large variety of Zaino, zymol, Mer, Klasse, Meguiars...all in variosu stages. 4/ Sealant glaze... Your experet advice/experience woudl be much appreciated! Best

    is there any need for an extended warranty system once it gets outside teh 60 000 mile usuage or three years? I have to travel frequently to various hospitals as a doctor...and hence, am awaiting my Nov 21st delivery

    hey wilo, i have the same problems as well. he qouted 115-120 + vat. My only problem is I would have to find a local car dealer to take the radio unit out and psot it up to them. Anyone based in Lon or N london able to help me out with this? I'm not sure if taking the radio unit out disables security, etc... and I',m trying to get the car full speccd up for Nov19 for the trade in for the new IS250...(maybe its easier not to bother)

    well - how many peeps would watch dvds on their car when stationary? I dont mind if the missus watches MTVs while i'm on the move. This could potentially lead to hazadrous kareoke on the move (which chinese are notoriosu for - bad kareoke singin that is :) Will have to get Ahmet to come and car pute the levinson system perhaps. Imagine how cool it woudl be to hook up the sound recognition system to play music videos, and switch to navigation or to hook up to digital news on the move (BBC news/Sky news/etc)

    I'm really annoyed with the space saver tyre. Smacks of cost cutting for a 26-30k car. unbelievable!!!

    i think we jsut get teh bog standard head lamps. the HIDs are on the luxury model - silly really - wy not add it as an option?????//??

    i havent had the reason to travel to Ilford but I reckon TOM TOM might be able to help out, and yeah - I guess you would have a carputer of sorts...(is it not illegal to drive and "car-put" at the same time? *grin* but overall - impressed with your project. It woudl be interesting to have a Carputer II for the 250 - seeing as smaller toaster oven sized cpus are easily avail on market these days On a side note, I was wondering if those DVD players on the New IS would run DVDs when the car is mobile for the passenger, or just when idle...

    Nice to meet you all guys, been lurking around the forums for the past three years but never had the "guts" to join a local meet - seeing as I've yet to take the plunge into mods and stuff. Noticed a few game designers out there as well. Maybe we shoudl make a Lex based game eh!

    Thanks - I try to improve in vechile and enviromental drawings, although sometimes going to a life drawing (nudes) helps me to improve in character drawing/appreciation (which is the hardest I reckon)

    Currently, there are no reviews as to the advantages over various tracker systems to fit on the lexus. Would appreciate some feedback as to the cost/insurance decrease of various tracker devices used by members. Cheers!

    Does anyone know if the dealerships are offering competetively priced tracker installation systems or is it better to o direct to RAC?

    to sound really insane, I guess one has three options when buying a new car 1/ Go with the dealership - supraguard it and (hope your waxes are applicable on top of it). Does anyoen (delaer/user) have had prolonged experience of using supraguard as an initial protector on the forum? 2/ 3m seal the front (do you knwo any mobile services or any in and aroudn london?) 3/ Spend the first few days - after deliver of car sealing, waxing and protecting the car
