  1. I do :) and I think its one of the best driving games Ive ever played. altho it doesnt work too well with the force feedback wheel. The game just works so well either online or offline. played it for months lol
  2. The 360 wins in everything but fun. better sound better graphics better functions. but the Wii is something else, its just so much fun to play and Nintendo make the worlds best games, always have. Get both and your sorted. Make sure the strap stays on your hand !!http://www.wiihaveaproblem.com Brett, as a 360 man .... it would be interesting if you could tell me which you think is better, Wii or 360 ? ............. I got usual stuff, clothes, smellies, etc ............... :)
  3. I got a Wii and some games :) loads of chocs and some smellies and no hangover as I was driving :(
  4. Thanks guys :) as for double prezzies?? no :( usually ppl forget that its my birthday or I get one with happy birthmass on it.. But It's all good in the end :) hope you all had a great xmas :)
  5. I like those. why do they try to beat them !! crazy
  6. For me they were £100 dearer than Lexus's own for insurance :( oh well
  7. Well ive played on mine for around 30 hours so far 25 of those have been on the new Zelda game which has to rank as my game of the Year, without doubt. The controller is incredibly responsive and deadly accurate and its alot more than just a gimmick. I've had all kinds of non gaming family members wanting to have a go, especially the Bowling and Tennis games, Nintendo have really cracked onto something unique here and the adverts on TV seem to be working well on the non gamer population. Graphics dont compare to the 360. but you dont need them for the kind of games on the Wii. All in all if you can manage to buy one Id say give it a go, set it up with a few friends and you'll have never had so much fun in front of the TV. Xmas is going to be fun this year :) P.S. It runs on DVD discs and also plays Gamecube discs. and you can download Mega Drive, Super Nintendo. N64, PC Engine Games and Nes games into the virtual console too.
  8. can you post your friend code too? we both need them for it to work which is silly but thats how it works :( Super Castlevania and Rtype is due out by xmas on the virtual console. so im looking forward to them. :)
  9. Hi Paul Hope your enjoying your Wii. here's my wii friend code 8378 1752 6962 9680
  10. Well I got mine, no problems, was up till 4am playing it with my mates. the wiimote is very very accurate and works exceptionally well. The virtual console games, well look the same as they did in the old days. but playing F Zero on a 50" HDTV looks like its made of lego lol. But it still plays as well as it did back in the 90s. You would not throw the wiimote at your TV or anything else unless your an idiot. it has a wrist strap and there's no way it's going anywhere. If anyone wants one I checked at asda last night after picking mine up from HMV as they were short shipped one of the games I wanted. Asda had 1 left :) anyway the lady there said they do not take pre orders. and you basically have to be there. but she did say you can phone them and if they have one in stock they will reserve it for you till the end of the day. my local one said they would have another 15 consoles coming on saturday. I doubt you will get one at any of the games shops as they were taking preorders and said they are struggling to fulfill them.
  11. haha good on ya :) Some mad people are paying upto and above £460.00 for just the Wii console on Ebay today. They only cost £180.00 and there's a slim chance you could just turn up to your local asda and get one tonight at midnight. Crazy people. Hmmm might pop in to Asda on the way home and pick up an Wii for Ebay lol
  12. I picked up my 360 at midnight too, before then I didnt even wait for official uk launches I used to buy all my games and consoles imported. I got the wireless force feedback steering wheel for the 360 last week, plays great with PGR3 (which comes with it) If your looking for something else to play on your 360 pip, I agree about gears of war, too short and multiplayer doesnt interest me.
  13. Im hoping to go pick up my Wii tonight, it's preordered so im hoping that i'll get it !! Argos and Woolworths have been short shipped their allocation so there's gonna be alot of unhappy people this weekend im sure. Is anyone else as crazy as me and picking up a Wii at midnight?
  14. Stop Motion Animation. Wish i could get dressed as easy as that !! Very cool btw
  15. Wow episode 5 of season 3 of lost was a bit of a shocker !! Im really not looking forward to that 12 week wait :(
  16. Could it be anything to do with the cold snap? This morning I noticed that my power steering on my GS was making a loud motor sound. by the time I had got to work it was back to normal again, Ive never noticed this before is this normal?
  17. Im going to be watching Lost tonight ep5 :) and you just know that next weeks ep will be a huge cliffhanger to keep us hanging until next FEB!! I have heard that SKY 1 will be showing season 3 from this month so Im not sure how thats going to work out if that will go on a break too?? if not we'll be ahead of the americans woo. Im also seriously getting in to Heroes and Jericho at the moment great TV shows :)
  18. sony machines are usually like this, Sony cram them so full of crap that your poor lappy struggles under the load of them, Windows also tries to be smart by preloading anything you have run on the laptop, so eventually your startup takes so much longer because windows is preloading even the programs you no longer use. easy way to check this is to delete the contents of the prefetch folder you will find this folder within the windows folder on C drive. you can delete everything out of there and reboot. the first time you reboot it will take a long time as the main system files were not preloaded either but the next time you boot up you should notice a big improvement in system speed and boot up time. just some of your programs will take a little longer to load up after you click them the first time u run them. you can also change a setting in the reg to stop new programs being added into the prefetch folder. (only worth doing after you have cleared it out and loaded everything you use day to day once)
  19. I just picked up L3X SA - wifes inital then my initial. Would have liked L3XAS (my initials) but its already gone and would have been more than £250 Just ordered the plates in the format L3X SA , and not L3 XSA. I wonder if the local dibble will have a whinge. we shall see Ads I got pulled once during MOT for my plate which is L3X BN due to the spacing, so now i have a spare correct set, just for MOT day :)
  20. It could be just a case of the springs needing some time to settle in.
  21. I solved my rattle by nipping in the runner at both sides as seen in this pic I just used some pliers to gently squeeze in the runner and now it grips the flap and stops it sliding open :) (ignore the dirt)
