I got the sony hxd 910 and its awesome, the upscaled pics via HDMI are very nice indeed on my 50" hdtv but it only has one tuner so you can only record one channel at a time Oh also it has most of the features of Sky+ it can be set to record the same program each week or day or whatever automatically and has a very nice epg. can pause live tv and other such tricks and the DVD output looks very good scaled all the way upto 1920 x 1080 res. but if u really need twin tuner then I think the yet to be released rdr hxd 1010 is the one for you.

I've got one of the MS keyboards with the fingerprint reader built in, it's hit and miss if it works in firefox and it can be fooled with a thumb copy made from blutac !! so make a copy of your thumbs just in case :)

Pixmania is a site ive heard of before they usually sell european imports and not UK stock, I doubt that it makes much difference as a car stereo is the same anywhere, but domestic goods may come with a 2 pin plug. But I have heard the Site is ok

SPOOKY... :o ...it's not for the above is it ← he he no not for the above job, but they do train the people to use their products at the nail accademy, which is right next door to where i maybe working. I wish her the best of luck anyway, the products are the best.

Hi and welcome to the club, How many miles has your car done? have you had a different brand of tyre fitted that may have caused this? it could be caused by worn ball joints or worn wheel bearings, ball joints are common to go on the GS. -
Ah I think Ive sussed it when ive installed a fresh install of ikonboard it sets the permissions to what it needs but the files I upload myself to the server will not allow me to set those permissions such as 666 and 777 highest is 655 and 755. guess thats the problem. thanks guys anyway :) know of any free forum software that outputs files to auto update the main page? the way I have it set at the moment is whatever I post in the news forum the first post is automatically displayed on the main page by ways of a txt file and I use an ssi to display it.

when i set it up, I used dbm, but since my old host has suspended the site on my I cannot log in to the forum and create a back up, so all i have are the raw files that I ftp'd on my desktop pc Ive uploaded these to the new server and changed the paths files etc but i get CGI errors and permisions errors and the new server doesnt allow 777 permissions only upto 755, If i do a fresh install of the ikonboard it runs fine but Ive lost all the posts and users etc :(

Thanks Nick :) im sure its just something or nothing if fixed the paths and i think i have the right permissions but it just wont run and ikonboard is no more but i really like the features it has

I had to change hosting for my xbox site as i was exceeding the bandwith so I backed up the whole site to my PC using FTP and then reuploaded the site back to the new host but the Forum software I was using Ikonboard is no longer working does anyone have any experience with this forum software? TIA

I recently got a 50" 3LCD HD ready TV its rear projection but its very thin, but not wall hangable. the picture is stunning and just breathtaking with hi def stuff like the xbox 360 or a PC. LCD's dont suffer from screen burn like plasmas can and sony have now stopped making plasmas. not sure why. also my 50" tv with a stand is only £1400 rrp i got mine for £1120 bargain :)

keyboard and mouse is by far the best method you gain the speed and accuracy of aiming your gun with the mouse and access to all the other buttons for ducking and side stepping with the keyboard. its far too slow using a pad unless the game was designed for it such as the same game on a console which usually has auto aiming to help the problem. give it a try

i had a 306 before the IS and it was a great car. roomy and lots of fun to drive with an excelent bullet proof engine. but the rest of the car fell to bits, had a leaky drivers door and exhaust rotted typical french but i enjoied it all the time i had it

sometimes gamepads just wont work with some games for instance half life 2. you can use it to look around but not move maybe the same with fear. I tried this myself when I wanted to put the PC thru my TV and use a wireless pad, just no fun trying to ballance a keyboard and mouse on your lap. but for fps games you really shouldnt be using anything other than a keyboard and mouse :)
