at which stage do you get bulb removal on the dash as i couldnt see it advertised anywhere

The ones i know: Fever; apparently runs ok, no problems. Dave Read: blew gearboxs and gearboxes and gearboxes..... Raj: ECU lights, bad running, fuel gauge not working properly. Cho: blew the engine (plus Raj's problems) (and now hes rebuilt is no where near the power TDi claim) Thats just what i have been told (by the owners themselves). Recently when a stage two conversion was looked at by another garage (Noble Motorsport) they felt the charger was beyond its capabilities at 0.5 bar and producing too much heat. kieron (dark is) ran one of the first ones last i heard it was running ok, and had been for quite a while i believe maz used to have one as well Dave Read's blowing gearboxes is surely a testament to the power produced Or being poorly fitted maybe anything is possible

wont this afect it structural integrity and therefore affect what it does? Not really mate, its double skined and its just a small section from the under side. There was a bit all ready cut out of it but needing to cut out a bit further along. Then going to weld the bit I cut out back into the whole that was all ready there. So all will be good. I have cut the bit out all I need to do is weld it back in. But I'm off work this week so it will have to wait. come on down here use my works welder then the strut brace would have traveled as much as that supercharger you transported lol Rabs Thanks for the offer Rabs but think I'll just phone one of my mates from work and get them to weld it, then get another workmate to deliver it to mine :winky: Ahhh but will it be arriving by lexus courier though :P Rabs

spent the day fitting removing and fitting Suspension and ARBS's Rabs

ah ah i will not be beaten by nothing lol i have done both now i got some spring compressors from helfrauds might return them 2morow lol even with the weight on the hub it was tight but i have succeded then to put the new coilovers on i did the following i used a jack to raise the compression of them to an aceptable height but not to high i then used a bit of wood lent up agaist the hub and knelt on that whilst slowly knocking the bottom of the coilover into placeand voila sucess put the whole lot back together now time for a shower then i might wash the car no wait scrap that just seen the time think ill grab a bottle of southern comfort and sit on the couch now and relax well maybe some LOC browsing lol Cheers guys Rabs

thats what i thought but it dont come out far enough the spring has 2 much compression still is the another trick lol give me some wire and a circuit andim happy but this my hads arms face chest r black lol guess i never cleanedunder there before lol Rabs

ok ihave followed the knowledge bas link bar 1 item i dont have spring compresors are these vital to getting the shocks out is there some nack to it as ill b buggerd if i can get the thing to come unstuck i can move it around i can jig and jag but cant get it over the edge to get the shock out am i missing something silly Cheers Rabs

Hi ormi funily enough thats what i did after thinking about buying a new one i thought what the hell have 1 last bash and saw this ring on the back so did put the mole grips on there and voila although the boot had already burst i thik i burst it when changing the shocks last week so think i will have to replace now but for now its done TTE front Coilovers TTE front ARB's rear is happening after lunch its to bloody hot out there plus i got a boot full of subs sob sob Rabs

i think its a poor design my self, i thought baout undoing the bottom nut but thats also seized on and the allen key point is full of rust just looking online now to see where locally has got a drop link any one know anywhere in braintree.... Rab

OK i have the walkthrough and done one side no problems Passenger Now onto drivers side and the allen key head has just given way and gone all messed up ho can i get this off now i dont have new drop links and no where is going to be open that has them today any tips people im thinkin maybe a stud extractor drill a hole in the middle push down and turn oposite way to the way the nut is going and meat somwhere in the middle lol HELP ASAP car looking very sorry for itself lol
