  2. Mate i just bought a bodykit for an Is300 for my Is200 and the front splitters and rear and skirts were all too long but it could have been the fibreglass kit that was at fault???Someone on here told me that the us is300 has deeper bumpers for some crash barrier regulations. Check out all that was said in my MODS under my signature and hope this helps
  3. the little red coloured dome on the dash i have seen identicle ones to that in other cars for the central locking?
  4. Cheers for everyones comments but you just encourage me to do more haha
  5. Hey m8 just a quick question what sort of paint did you use? I used some spray last time & it was wrong just flaked off after awhile lol... i used plastikote but mines is not perfect i think rogue is the one to answer this best? Yes Bobby it should be 35 on front and 23 on rear
  6. My suspension was bouncy since putting in new springs but yesterday it felt a lot firmer i guess its just with it dropping all the time.I am getting really bad shaking at 50mph would i be best to leave it a few more days before i get the geometry done?
  7. n all fairness though Bob you car is hardly run in yet
  8. Cool so. If mine ever pack in on me i know where to pick up a set cheap. Cheers What about the bosch ones? How good are they? Cant really comment i have just had the ebay kits(cheapos)

  13. its the same as if you open the car and jump in but dont put the keys in the ignition after some time the alarm will go off as i found out one day i jumped in and threw keys onto seat while i made a call and off it went!!!
  14. Any idea what make it is, the only thing i would be worried about with the cheaper HID kits id how long they would last before something breaks Just make sure you shop around for your kit. The Philips one is supposed to be very good I agree the phillips is about the best around but the one i bought has been tried and tested by a few on here and i have not heard any complaints yet and its just a fraction of the phillips one
  15. bobby its saying 6h55m but im sure we will do it in under 6 through the night its 391 ah but that is from my house so you can subtract 45 mins from that
  16. everything comes in the kit if you look at my mods its all explained with links and yes its plug and play
  17. The problem being with the IS200 is that the engine does not spring into life until 4500RPM, Now when you are looking at statistics from 0-60 this is going to look fairly slow. Now if you are in the correct gear sitting at 50 and you plant it, its going to be as quick as all the rest if not quicker in its league. When people on here is on about it being slow what i think they are on about is that the engine takes so long to kick in and if you are in a hurry you need to keep on the gearbox as cut-out is at 6000RPM so you only have 1500RPM in each gear that you are really pulling in. But the thing with the Lexus is that you can drop a gear to overtake and you get a smooth response of power Do i sound like a saleman :shutit:
  18. Does anyone know the postcode for the fitting center so me and Bobby dont get lost?
  19. I have seen the odd one on Ebay too.
  20. Stuart, to do both hi & low beam you will need two kits if you look at my mods in my signature you will see all the info there i have recently done it.Rod
  21. Me personally when i first came on here i used to just come straight onto the IS200 page and i was on here a while before i found the club meeting page, parts for sale etc etc. There are a lot of new guys on here so just make sure you check out these pages too. There's lots of meets going on coming into summer and if there any near you come along and meet the guys and gals and have a fun day out. For the amount of members on here there seems to be very poor turnouts at the events that have been organised. Cheers Rod.
