Been loking for a small dog for my little girl for her birthday but am having no joy at all ,after a westie ,cairn terrier sized dog but have tried local rags with no joy .anyone got any ideas of were to try as i would like one by the weekend .and yes i now dogs are for life and not just for birthdays xmas etc :D
  2. They would get the same treatment ,i.e they would also be told they bought the title .its what football is all about these days money and who has the most.
  3. thanks for the reminder ,forgot it was on
  4. mines always had castrol slx fully synthetic oil from new and is very quiet on start up .perhaps a swop to this might cure the problem as 90,000 miles is not high mileage and should not be making this noise .
  5. got to be man u for me . supporting millwall i have always hated the arsenal.
  6. probaly just better of buying the aristo TT in the first place and avoiding all the hassle of an engine swop.
  7. BHP is about 227 and is the same as a standard car .not a lot about for the mk1 unless you import from usa .
  8. :D my parents live in catford and sometimes the road is blocked due to double parking ,you have to drive around the block just to reach thier house
  9. driving anywere in east london full stop, seems there is people parked anywere they like and the highway code is a thing of the past :duh: .mind you most of the drivers look like they have only been in the country for a couple of weeks and cant believe we have tarmac and traffic lights .
  10. clear ? you sure its oil and not water from the air con dripping down .
  11. was me that tried it and to be honest the amount off cleaning i had to do after i would not bother ,car still stinks as well but that could just be the kids .
  12. i agree with that ***********************
  13. thats realy good ,just checked on some of my old cars and my supra that i sold three years ago with two previous owners has now had nine previous
  14. The tyre mix is wrong! and in conflict, you cannot have assimetrical and directinal tyres running as partners, even over the axle front / rear, how did this conflict evolve! ← .the front ones were not worn so did not nead replacement ,went for the toyos to stop the rear end skipping as it did this with the pirrellis .stopped the skittish rear but new problem has arisen ,will check pressures tomorrow
  15. just had new rears fitted on my gs ,fronts are pirrelis and the new rears are toyo tr1 directional.the cars handling has changed ,it seems fidgity and over sensitive almost like a big van in windy conditions .gets worse the faster i go and the smallest touch of the steering seems to be over exagareated .any one shed any light ,i have had them on for a week now and hoped it would settle down a bit .could it be the fact i have two different makes even though not on the same axle.
  16. I think they were just making people aware of the danger of being hit by one ,and also the shogun that was used was also ten years old .i found the results a bit disturbing and has made me consider a 4x4 even more for the safty of my children .i presume they used a 4x4 and not a bus lorry etc as these cars are more common and more likley to be involved in that type of accident .the biggest shock for me was the fact the door on the car ended up touching the door on the opposite side and the shoguns chassis was untouched
  17. Been with the aa for 14 years and called them out to the lex twice(flat battery) ,both times my own fault for leaving the lights on .
  18. sounds like the dreaded combination of to much power and little experiance .seen a few myself and it do's make the heart beat a tad bit quicker .had a car full of blokes overtake me in a audi quattro once on the south circular at catford ,they lost control going under a bridge turned the car 180 hit a lamppost backwards and ended up in a car showroom .was not a pretty sight when we pulled up ,but had to remind the dazed driver that it was a race he had lost :) .took the fire brigade two hours to cut them out
  19. (pearl and dean) reminds me of saturday morning pictures at catford ABC,one paid , ran down and opened the fire exit to let all your mates in ,ah the good ole days
  20. All cars have them they are a drain plug ,but it should not be leaking water .if it is then you have problems and probaly a footwell full of water .press the carpet on the side of the plug and see if it is wet .my bet is that it is the air con that is dripping like fluff states .
  21. Have you chrecked in the boot on the right hand side for water as this is were the amp etc sits and it is common for them to leak water into this area
  22. i reckon you would get around 7.5k - 8k for it private .but dont think that buying your next car cash will get you a better price ,dealers much prefer finance deals or as you have found out they like to stuff you on your p/x and then sell that on for a profit.
  23. voted ,polling station is next door to me
  24. think i got probs ,took me about 8 go's and then tried again and got it wrong :duh:
