  1. If that doesn't work you will have to take it to Lexus for inspection / diagnostics.
  2. I would be worried about driving it with a misfire as it will cause damage. The only thing I know about LPG that it makes the engine run hotter than with a petrol fuel, I'm not sure where this would cause an additional "drain" on then engine / ignition though. I'd want it removed now or take the car off the road and contact Trading Standards, probably not what you want to hear. What does the guarantee / warranty say?
  3. So the discs were skimmed on the car, which left metal embedded in the paint and people tried to wash it off? I really am amazed that anything other than a hosepipe or maybe jet wash was used by anybody ..... to start with at least as all toy will do by washing / polishing is make it worse.
  4. If it wasn't misfiring before you took it in then the installer needs tio rectify it. Is it an approved LPG installer with proper certification? Ask him to fix it or take it out and refund your money, you did pay with a credit card didn't you?
  5. You need to get it looked at / adjusted, it should hold like a handbrake.
  6. Could well be a fuse, have a look in the drivers footwell. The fuses are detailed on the back of the cover IIRC the ciggy one is in the middle column 2 up or about there.
  7. Did you ask to check your balance? Suggest it might be worthwhile in case you have been the victim of identity theft.
  8. Chesham, they have a website at: http://www.wheels-inmotion.co.uk/
  9. You need Tony at WIM: For Wheels in Motion, please telephone 01494 797825 Email: enquiries@wheels-inmotion.co.uk
  10. I think most of the staff went across from Worcester and I wasn't impressed with them. They may have changed since though.
  11. Try moving it, many cars can get their remote signals affected by local transmiters etc. try and push it about 50 metres away and try again.
  12. Oil pressure light providing the sensor and pump are Ok is likely to be wear on the engine. You are talking about piston bore wear and big end wear. You need to get somebody who knows these cars to inspect it and report back what is wrong. I suspect your "friend" might of done something that he does not want to admit if that was the first time the light had come on ......... when you drained the oil is there shiny metal bits in it, and any bottom end noise, have you had a compression test done?
  13. Not sure how rear tyres are going to affect holding the steering wheel. Were these tyres fitted by a reputable company and balanced correctly?
  14. If you are down to 1.5 mm on the outside then you need to change them regardless of the inside. It does sound like you need a full 4 wheel geometry check as the IS250 series tend to wear on the inside but not as bad as the IS200 used to.
  15. Sorry but I don'r understand how you are going to warm the car up in the winter without idling the engine, are you going to put a ceramic heater inside the car and run it on 12 volts?
  16. The fact that you have to ask the question gives you the answer. it will never be worth very much and you will have one hell of a job to sell it on even 3 years down the line. Insurance may be more expensive too, have you asked? I wouldn't touch one. If you do carry on your interest make sure it is inspected by a fully qualified expert ( not connected to the person selling it ).
  17. Looking at it again it looks like the doors are the different colour, have a look in diferent lights ;) Cameras can hide but don't normally show wrong.
  18. It lloks like it's already had some damage by the different colours down the driver's side to the front. Looks like a big frontal? Any other evidence was it hpi clear when you bought it. What's the age and mileage, that's normally a good indication of repair / write-off.
  19. They should keep CCTV for a reasonable amount of time, worth asking again .......
