  1. Cheers guys, looking forward to taking delivery but a long wait. kind of knew I'd be back one day :)
  2. As title, I had two IS200 Sports, then two IS250 cars then switched to Ford with three Focus a diesel for mileage then two new ones. Ordered today a Lexus CT200h in ultra blue and with a sports pack for end of January delivery, so I'll add myself to the CT forum when I have a couple of minutes.
  3. Can't get on with this new format, no response from admins. :( Bye to all.
  4. Cheers that's the mark posts read sorted, just need to find where I change the skin. Adverts occupying a third of my screen ( on the right ) and white writing on a black background is just not user friendly :(
  5. How do I change the skin back to the old one? I'm not liking this at all. Also, where is mark all forums read?
  6. There's one here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LEXUS-LS400-4-0-1992-1997-ALTERNATOR-/200596879368?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2eb4817808#ht_2342wt_1161 and here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LEXUS-LS400-4-0-V8-ALTERNATOR-A2165-/310367042567?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4843513c07#ht_989wt_851 and here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LEXUS-GS-LS400-ALTERNATOR-A1905-/190554771157?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2c5df30ed5#ht_1071wt_851 You might be best to get your part number and how many amps it is and see if any match.
  7. Never used it myself, but I would guess that the apps ( "old games" ) need to be in a subfolder of the folder for MIME on the c: drive. Looks like the programs go on "roms" subdirectory. samples in the samples subdirectory Have a read here: http://mamedev.org/devwiki/index.php/FAQ:Setting_Up
  8. I expect it's the emulator you are missing, if so try here: My link
  9. My comments are based on what you said in you first post. read it again yourself and see if you can see why I said what I did. But it's also a general observation for others who may not be so experienced on driving in snow, that even with winter tyres the driver may be OK but the driver needs to be aware of other road users.
  10. I think as clerdick has already said winter tyres will help you, they will help you or allow you to pull away and they will improve stopping on ice, snow, or even a dry road at temperatures below 7 degrees. But you must not drive as you normally do, you need to slow down and drive to other people's limits not your own. They will not stop you quicker than summer tyres in August. So think of the pedestrian stepping of the pavement or walking in the road, the front wheel drive car that starts slipping on a steep hill or the BMW ( and other ) rear wheel drive cars that aren't going anywhere or if they do it'a all over the road and no stopping at the junctions. If you think like this then hopefully you will drive accordingly and have a safe winter and keep your car in on piece.
  11. If you fit only two tyres you will probably ending up spinning the car into a ditch - don't do it. It's because one axle will get more grip than the other and you will end up with a very difficult to control car. Don't take my word for it ask the experts.
  12. I'm pretty sure you have to do it like with the earlier iphones by taking the sim out and putting in a phone that will let you transmit them all in one go after pairing, otherwise it's one at a time.
  13. Is this the new car warranty ( i.e. less than 3 years old ), used car warranty or extended warranty?
  14. You better brace yourself as this is likely to battery pack failure or invertor failure. Both are expensive. How many miles have you done as I believe these are covered by a 5 year or 60,000 mile warranty.
  15. There should be an in-line fuse on the audio. Pull it out and replace the fuse. Sounds like the battery to jump it might have been connected the wrong way first shot?
  16. Surely changing the locks and anything else associated with it will be covered by your insurance.
  17. Do it yourself, do a search on here for details and results. I think the stickers are available from LOC.
  18. I'd call out the AA or RAC if you are a member. Otherwise contact your insurance company if you are going to claim and they will get somebody to get in. Good luck :)
  19. Not until 2013 though. Why are they doing it? To speed up journeys, to help businesses? No - I believe it's so we drive faster, use more fuel and they get more tax :(
  20. Snow socks are only use on snow, if you reach tarmac you need to remove them or they will quickly wear out. They can also be a pig to put on and off despite what the websites and videos tell you.
  21. Sounds like something is bent or broken, you really need to get a good mechanic to look at it.
