  1. So: Can't find the "New Posts" link on the new format, I can see "Latest Posts" but that doesn't do the same thing. "New Posts" gave new posts to me since my last visit ;)

  3. Pistonheads want £12 for the advert. I've saved it until I get my photos made smaller they are over 1mb each. Is there a freebie program to do this?
  4. Looks good, worth the wait. Will you have to buy new tyres for those wheels?
  5. Didn't realise it was free, I'll try it on there when I can make my pics. a bit smaller and blank out the plates.
  6. Webuyanycrap offered about £7k under top retail, Lexus ( so far ) about £6k under. I'm just considering other options, a bit nervous with costs to sell it / if it doesn't sell and who it might invite round to view. Also looking at autotrader but that has it pitfalls too :(
  7. Have you checked it on different browsers? I've just use firefox to look. On firefox the "Get A Quote" is out of the box and too close to the line above. Links on left side should be on one line and should show that they are a link in some way. Site Map has # Page 2 # Page 3 # Page 4 ??? Company details in grey block at bottom would look better if it's formatted into lines like an address. Looks good otherwise, a bit different to the norm.
  8. Why not sell the 206, it's just wasting money parked up. Would that clear the loans?
  9. Well it's my fourth IS, two IS200s and two IS250s, and sadly it has to go. I've been unemployed for six months and something has to give, unfortunately it looks like it has to be the Lexus. I'll be sad to see it go after 27k fault free miles, but needs must. I'm looking round the dealers at the moment to see what I can get for a straight sale and will then look for something a bit older and a bit smaller. My son has just moved abroad to work so there is only going to be me in the car now so a luxury that I can no longer warrant. If anybody knows anybody who wants one ;) It will be a help to me.
  10. Yet a side repeater on the indicators showing white light is a fail.
  11. You need to check your contract of employment to say what it says about sites you may be required to work at and what will paid if you use your own car.
  12. If a car has afault like that and the owner is not prepared to fix it before selling it ... it tells you something about the car maybe ... if you are interested in the car get him to fix it and you'll then test drive and if OK have it. Beware though some faults can dissappear for a while by disconnecting the battery for 30 minutes.
  13. I'd be inclined to say walk away and wait till you find a nice one, with this one there will always be that little thought in the back of your mind ........... So it's got four scuffed wheels, partial service history, unsure about cambelt, brake judder ( caliper or discs and pads ). Needs a full service for piece of mind. I'd say that's going to cost approximately £1000 if you are lucky at an Indie and £1500+ at Lexus. Is it really worth it on a £4k car when the dealer has only knocked £495 off the price? There are better cars than this on autotrader with FSH and some with satnav for less money.
  14. On £53k you should be able to negotiate down £3k+ and the free bits he has offered which aren't worth that much anyway :) Check the figures for the GAP on the internet ( not Lexus ) and the 3 years servicing on Lexus site then go back with the prints from the online brokers.
  15. If you are considering it do an HPI check and see what it comes back with. Also contact your local Lexus dealer with the registration number and tell them you are thinking of buying it have then any history. Thirdly you can get previous MOT mileages from the internet with reg. no. and MOT cert. no. or V% reference ( I think that's all you need ). Also look at the panels passenger front door looks a different colour, any others? http://www.motinfo.gov.uk/internet/jsp/ECH...ory-Request.jsp
  16. How old is the car and how many miles. If it feels like that it doesn't sound right. You should be able to drive "keenly" on any type of road.
  17. If you want to just protect it for now just put on a rust proofer ( if it's bare metal ) and some primer.
  18. Gareth is correct both my IS200 sports with styling kit came with Pzero Rossos from new.
