  1. Clean as a whistle here.... I am guessing all those Gold Soverigns are causing the scratches? Perhaps a pair of Alan P driving gloves would help with future damage. Unless you guys are digging your nails in so tight, coz of the speeds your travelling at? Mind you £18 a throw aint that bad -Lee
  2. I like the kit... and as u said that wing is a little over-stated. the standard Sport spoiler is good enough for me :-D
  3. Thats a few pennies more than I was expecting for an extension of what I already have :-( Ummm time to re-think the dribble project then! Ho humm... "I will have that ultimate car, I will" Thinks to himself -Lee
  4. ummm... the thing on/in the bumper looks like a C-West Sticker :-( I think they look quite good, but I have taken a shine to the Blitz front spoiler Lee
  5. Hi chaps, has anyone had any experience, or know how with the C-West body kit? http://www.i-m-racing.com/cwesbodkitis.html looks quite nice, but I cant see a place to put the front fog lights... While your on the site, do the prices seem fair? Cheers Lee
  6. I take it that your not flooring it?... perhaps trying a higher gear - 2nd, to pull away with. If the snow is deep perhaps your tyres are to wide, and you are unable to dig in enough to gain traction? -Lee
  7. Hi chaps, I have got around 3700 miles on the clock now, and the engine felt nice and broken in about 2200. I have been using BP Super Unleaded, and that seems to be fine. Obviously after the engine had losened up a bit the car now bursts into "performance mode" :-D I took the car for a long ride (250mile round trip), on the way back I thought I would stop off and get some juice for the beast. I pulled into a service station on a dual carridgeway. I chose the "Super Unleaded" as I didnt want my baby to drink the watered down stuff. I filled her completely up, paid for it ;-), and then attempted to continue my journey. I pulled away as I would normaly, and it seemed a little bit sluggish. "oh well, must be because of the extra weight" This happened throughout the power band and revs. The car carried on this poor performance until I gave it some of the old faithful (BP). Just wondered if anyone else has tried this fuel, and had any bad experiences? -Lee
  8. Sounds good... these auto lights... do they have a feed when you turn your ignition on.... i.e leave them on when you switch the engine off at night, then start the car up in the monring (worrying about the battery life) I assume if its all ok... I will never have to worry about switching them off/on again... -Lee
  9. Sounds pretty sweet to me... add me to the list :D
  10. Looking at his mod list, I aint suprised! (any ideas on his brake horse power?) Has anyone had a nitrous kit kitted... if so what you looking at in increase of BHP/performance??
  11. My mistake for not searching... cheers ifraz... I will have a look
  12. Well my old xantia had an 8L reserve and I had done 40 miles on that... but that was pushing it. Guess its time to put a fuel tank in the back and have a go at testing it?
  13. Welcome Shahid, its like a new pair of hush puppies... soft, warm, comfortable, an extension of your body.. enough about the shoes Good to have another lexi driver in the club (I aint talking 9 months of waiting either) Just wait till that baby is bedded in, then you can really get a smile on ya face! -Lee
  14. Probably behind the times... but how do i get a copy/subscription?
  15. Hi chaps, b4 I give a pertol station the flyby with my reserve light on (ickle orange one). I was wondering if anyone actually know a ruff number of miles that you can travel before the juice runs out... TIA -Lee
  16. I am assuming you are letting the ABS and the TRC lights go out b4 you start the engine? If not give it a whirl
  17. Shifts down a gear, and winds the stereo up... I got ya, secret squirel stuff! :-D On my way!
  18. I am well happy I paid my dues then.... so how do I go about saying to my dealer, give me a discount as I am a goldmember... is there a way of them checking? Lee
  19. It actually in Littleport, not too far away from Ramsey... 30 miles or so
  20. Hi Chaps, I have seen atleast two other "lexi" drivers in my village. One red with midas badges and the other black with a sports kit... Go on own up if you are them Lee
  21. Mine wiggles about.. I guess your looking at the little dial and not the rev counter ;) I think it is measuring the fuel output, coz if you take your foot off the throttle you get about 80mpg+ And anything below, I believe 20mph, you dont get a measurement. While were are on the subject, anyone used Esso Super Unleaded? (if this tank full is anything to go on, no more in my car! - its performing more like a diesel now:( )
  22. Only pop through on visits to the "outlaws" (inlaws).. to Sutton Coldfield. I think I will have to get my butt to one of your meets, should be a hoot.. I guess there aint many "lexi" drivers in the East Anglia area, all got John Deers and Massey Fergersons over 'ere :D
  23. I did on the way back.. and I thought I saw your car aswell, but I think that was in birmingham/sutton coldfield
  24. Yeah they were driving around like girls I think they were then on their way in... I was going to swing around and give chase but no doubt would have ended up with my tail between my legs - Lee
