I posted on here awhile ago about slow startup, but ive never actually floored the car until recently, when I put it in power mode and mashed the gas. The thing is, the throtte response seemed abnormally slow, I know its not a ferrari or anything but I have the grounding kit installed on it and it seemed like it took 2 seconds before i felt any roar. The only engine mod I have is the grounding kit, no intake or anything, let me know what you all think, Ill have the dealer check it when I take it in in about 1000 miles.

Actually, I have a grounding kit, I never noticed any improvement, and that is about what it takes, 5-6 cranks, never in cold weather tho, its 110 degrees here in california. When I take it in for the next service, 1000 more miles, ill have them check it, im not to worried though.

I bought my IS300 with 13k miles and it has done it since i got it, so i didn't think anything of it, how many times does the engine crank before it starts on your is300? Mine takes about 2-3 seconds to start once I turn the key, seems way to long, I have a Ford SUV and it takes less than one second. Any thoughts?

the main/ low beam on my is300, i went to piaa's site and they only had the numbers for the fog and the high beams, also whats the bulb number of the day running lights? thanks

Ive read things on here before about how to install a head unit on an is300 that has the nav system, but, dont call me dumb, :P I didnt understand all that blaga, in plain on english, like ud tell ur mother, how do i make it so the speaker shutoff still works with a new headunit? can i just get some sort of adapter to plug the new headunit into the factory harness?

Hey guys havent been on in awhile, how yall doin? Anyway, im installing my setup, This is what i bought. and i have a couple questions, 1. the turn on lead goes to the antenna wire on the back of the stock radio right? which one is the antenna wire? a pic would be great do i need to splice the wires? 2. since im usin the stock radio, i bought a speaker level to rca converter, can i pull the wires out of the subs in the back, or do i have to get the wires before they go into the factory amp? if i have to do it before the amp, a picture would be great, thanks I know about electronics and audio, but im no guru, so plain english please :D It's an IS300 btw

ya know im suprised, i have a 2002 is300 here in america and i dont have any switch to adjust the headlight beam up and down... do i? where is it?

Mine is an IS300 and the dealer told me they added them for 2002 as an option. You can check to see if you have them by looking at the pillars by the winshield and seeing if they have little plug looking things that say SRS Curtain Airbag...

I forgot to add the vizage kit as an option. anyone like the vizage kit? Be nice Supracharged, be nice...
