  4. http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z155/co...07/DSC00394.jpg i fitted a blitz nur spec about month ago but had to use original rubber gromets as none supplied, it could really do with being lifted up an inch as i have caught the silencer on a few humps on the road. were or who would sell shorter gromets. tried kwik fit but was just given a confused look and a scratch of the head lol
  5. not sure if i put that on right i not very good on computers lol www.wheels-inmotion.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=3149 - 65k -
  6. would it be advisable to charge an engine with these miles on it or would this be the end of it. also witch kit would be most economical for everyday driving ect. never drove a supercharged car but i no if you want you can keep a turbo car off the boost to make it more useable fuel wise and a nice kick when it comes in. does a supercharger behave similar or is it constantly wanting to go. B)
  7. seen a post on wim forum about a new charger kit for is200 for 3000 pound, any performance figures on these?
  8. yea i read a few posts on them. an ordered a set of ebay and just waitin on them now
  9. I recently bought a set of bosch super 4 plugs only 300-500 miles ago and now i have ordered a set of denso ik20 plugs as i have read many many good reviews on them. is it even worth my while putting them on ebay or would noone buy second hand plugs. B)
  10. dont count your chickens before they hatch lol ten years is along time to not change coolant, anything could happen like burst hose or a leak. touch wood you dont have any probs like that. B)

  15. had the same problem, got the flywheel / clutch replaced under warranty by Lexus despite the fact they told me judder was 'normal' due to dual mass flywheel...Anyway its okay for now, however I fully expect the judder to return when more miles get put on it. i still get a very slight judder every now and again but nowhere near as bad.
  16. still trying to find the link in the search. is it easy enough to do
  17. this isn't legal either i'm afraid mate, pretty sure it will fail a MOT too Had Pete not done that on what is now your IS .......loads of guys have done that dont think it will have probs with MOT Urm yes he has had it done :P, but always thought it was a MOT failure? as long as it can be changed back for an hour for mot i would be happy lol
  18. when i bought my is200 it had quite bad judder but when the clutch went and i got it replaced it has been nowhere near as bad.
  19. obviously not, but for a 10 year old car...was in in its class compared to equivalent BMW, merc etc . You do have a diff obviously when you get your tail out your doing this on private roads, what you think this is Fast and Furious, if you want to "Drift" get the car set up properly, and go to tracks. the car is a very good handling car without doing any modifications, its a very stable and well balanced platform its effective, for Normal driving i meant i didnt have a lsd, i did not mean to upset you i was telling the guy my honest opinion of the car and i do not think i am in the fast and furious, i have been driving for 9 years so far with no accidents (touch wood) so i must be doing something right. also i do attend track days, as well as cruises and car shows where i can have a bit more fun than i do on the road but this does not mean i dont have a bit of fun on empty roads when i feel safe to do so. no offence meant monster-mat
  20. this isn't legal either i'm afraid mate, pretty sure it will fail a MOT too But if you connect it right, its a matter of undoing a crimp and its not there any more ;) I've had my conversion for nearly two years (one of my first mods) and i've had no problems with PD. do you have a link to the post on how to do it?? would be very gratefull. seen it on a lex and it looks sweet cheers
  21. D2 are utter **** have a look in here Knowledge Base ive done a write up on removing springs etc.....just change the process slightly for coilovers, if thats the route you really want to go i have not used d2 myself but no a couple of boys that have em in civics and they love them. not sure what the build quality is like but the teins seem good quality
  22. it really not a hard job, any mechanic should be able to fit them, or if your ok with a set of spanners its not a hard job. very easy to do. but def need set of spring clamps and a mate to help push the rear suspension down while you get the strut out an in. i did it on my own and made it ten times worse than it had to be. just keep the top mounts all the right way, mark them with a white paint marker or scribe a small line for a mental note of position good luck and dont forget the spring seats on front lol
  23. oh the traction control is usless i keep it off, what ya need thet for if you want the tail out lol only messin
  24. is easy in wet but still possible in dry, not sure about an auto tho? think a manual would be better. i wanted an s14 too but it not the running cost that put me off it that most of them have been ruined with big drift kits or modified beond everyday use or just falling apart, nearly bought one till i got it checked out an it was a cat c right off. but def more of a tail happy car as standard.
