  1. i think if we worrying about mpg we got the wrong car. lol sell your lex and get one of these instead
  2. sweet just need to see who will make me one now that is legal cheers
  3. is it the guage or the reader in the tank? will it get worse or is it just a sticking point on a low tank nope wont get worse, and it is the instrument cluster there is more than one reader in the tank.... 2 infact, not that it makes any difference...its the cluster good good glad to no i not goin to be without a guage, lol. cheers
  4. hear hear lol when i used to race go karts we set tyres cold and after each heat the pressures had risen quite a bit, think it was 2 - 4 psi different. So if tyres are inflated hot to the recommended pressure, they would, working on that basis be 2-4 psi under when they cool down and probably a lot more if you inflate during a longish run where your tyres have heated more. Result...excessive tyre wear, reduced fuel economy and more importantly reduced safety. sounds about right lol
  5. thats what i mean normal size letters on two lines. i dont mean a wee tiny plate wit tiny letters. most illegal ones i have seen are just vynil stuck on like classic car. sure the police love them
  6. is it the guage or the reader in the tank? will it get worse or is it just a sticking point on a low tank

  8. hear hear lol when i used to race go karts we set tyres cold and after each heat the pressures had risen quite a bit, think it was 2 - 4 psi different.
  9. is it legal to have bike style plates on your car and who makes them up for you. bike shop or do normal motor factors make them
  10. must just be sticky near the bottom whatever way its set up. is it a float on the tank or what?
  11. if you want fuel consumption do not fill up. imagine the weight of a 5 litre drum of water, now imagine weight of 70 odd litres of petrol in the tank, will kill your mpg guaranteed. light tank less weight stop more often :D
  12. fill it up? no way. that like carrying someone in the back lol. wont do much for performance or mpg. lol. usually put in £20 a pop. no more unless i goin a big drive somewhere.
  13. Got my stickers today cheers steve look good B)
  14. if i let my 99 is200 run into the red and then only £10 in sometimes the needle does not move but if i put in another £5 it will spring up a good bit. do the lexus ever suffer from a sticky needle? ok i know the obvious answer here , dont be a tight a*se and put more in. lol but when you spend all your cash on bits for the car and pay day is looming sometimes you have too lol.
  15. i am running super unleaded in mine and it 8p a litre dearer and i def gettin less miles for my money. the air filter looks very small and restrictive standard so i have a k&n panel filter off ebay for good price. but still not sure how it affects my mpg
  16. i dont usually go top of the range tyres as they never really last that long. i have found nankangs to be a decent in between tyre, nankang review
  17. light right foot lol. not sure just keep your tyres at proper psi, make sure your track is right, recently serviced with plugs filter ect. dont think there any real way to do it. gas conversion?
  18. is there any variation between pads on certain years of car?? i not sure just a thought
  19. thanks again mate appreciate it. i a bit useless on the old computer lol
  20. i got nice chrome valve caps with mine, then i had 2 then none. lol. i sure some kids bmx looks trick with them. got a set of chrome anti theft spinning ones. great job. come with a keyring tool for takin them off. think they are made by richbrooke
  21. i agree its not right but it made a lot of people think twice about doin it, locally we heard he was stealing cars from an area and the boys found out an got him one night. you prob find the stolen bmw was one of their own as an insurance job. lol harsh punishment but i would not like to think he did it again. or then he really really stupid
