But in reality... yes it could go wrong as they are playing with the complete unknown.. But they are also doing no more than is happening every single day in space.. yea but what goes on in space goes on in space, like things dissapearing into black holes, that would not be good especially when i get paid on thursday and wont have time to go get full lol

if its a k&n filter i doubt there is any ploy as they are one of the biggest names in that industry, even if it gave you 1 or 2 brake it is still an improvement, and def lets the engine breath a bit easier. you dont notice the difference putting one in but you will if you take one out and replace it with original. seems to choke it a bit. my opinion anyway lol

you could be right could be a congestion problem as its a work computer beside my machine, there prob about 30-50 running at any time but was fine before. seems to only be loc. maybe because it a forum and it being updated constantly cheers guys -
should be straight forward enough. but any i should watch out for, like weak bolts prone to shearing. had to grind off exhaust bolt to fit cat back system as it was corroded beyond use.

is any one else experiencing really slow progress on the forum. it seems to be taking forever to load up pages for me but yet all other sites i use seem ok. is this just my computer or anyone else too

i def feel a slight kick in the power at 4500. not much but noticeable. always felt like it ran out of grunt up the revs but as the dyno shows it spot on right up to 6500.

a few minor mods and an is200 looks mean enough. and at cruises i go to its usually just me and 1 other lexus as everybody else has copied their mates, some nice cars but common as muck, ie at cruises there always at least half a dozen integra type r, vti civic, glanza turbo, evo, impreza, sx200, skylines, all imports and all look the same. i personally think the lex is up there in the looks department but maybe not the speed. and as for the rest you lose count. saxo, corsa, fiesta, ect ect ect. -

tony this is prob a silly question but is it safe to stretch tyres to fit a wider rim. i have been told by a tyre dealer he could stretch a set of 215 35 18s on to my rims. the tyre that is on the car is 225 40 18. whats your verdict. sounds fishy to me. i have seen it on show cars but i would drive pretty hard sometimes and would not like a tyre to leave a rim because of somet stupid like it should not have been on there

its really not that noticeable unless you look right at the edges. guess he was paying more attention trying to set to my settings as he didnt really want to lol. not his daily routine.

yea i have it pretty heavily lowered and i used the settings tony recomended but as i say the tyres were more than likely already shot. what i am saying is would tyres worn at one side knock off the reading of the machine that they use to set the geo. not sure to stay with 40 series tyers or set of 35 series 18" rim

looked at my front tyres yesterday to find they very thin on the inside edges. i know this is a prob on is200 but just had my geo done and i would say the damage was done before. if i get a new set will i need the geo re done for the new tyres? i will try get them to throw in a setting for free with 4 new tyres.

just thought i try post it so people can here what they sound like. sounds like a big whoosh or sucking sound. but any one that wants a subtle pipe that you cant hear inside but have been told it sounds class outside. it also sounded like a jet on the roling road lol

its ok i dont mind doin some homework for the loc lol. will be interesting to find what happens. get the figures in black and white. i always thought it had most power at around 4500rpm but think thats just the slight kick in the tourqe you can see if you look close.

i dont even have cat back just back box. i may also remove the middle silencer and replace with section of stainless pipe. depends what sounds like after manifold

i think mine may had a wee tap at rear at some point, same problem. filling up with water passenger side. took light out and little bit of corrosion around the weld/sealant. i just used some plack silicone and pushed it in all round any rough looking bits and it has sorted it for now anyway quick cheap fix. not worth fixin a 10 year old car professionally for all the problem is

While waiting on my manifold to arrive i thought i would get a dyno done to see what its at before i swap over, just to see how the cheap ebay manifold performs. first run is fourth gear at 156bhp 138.2Lbf/ft/4592rpm second run in fifth gear at 163bhp 143.0Lbf/ft/4670rpm was happy enough as it doesn seem to have lost much power. these runs are with blitz nur spec back box k&n high flow panel filter new denso ik20 plugs super unleaded fuel reset ecu half hour before test to adjust will post new results after i recieve and fit the manifold from ebay
