I've got 8000k HID's on my Aristo, people used to get dazed when the auto levelling stopped working on the driver side headlight (install error). This happened because of a longish pole on the plug that plugs into the headlight was retracted... Anyways, nobody, has EVER complained about the HID's. I've been on quite a few group journeys with at least 8 other cars and have NEVER had any problems. Just my two pennies :).

The best one IIRC that MKIV.com tested was the APEXi Power Intake Induction Kit :). Best filtration, same power gains as other induction kits, etc :). I don't know if they make one for a IS200 Sport though, but you might want to check it out :).

Why not a V300? You'll be able to eat (almost) any car for breakfast with some little mods here and there ;) and more practical than a Supra? Don't know how to check the Fluid lever in the box though sorry :).

That really honestly does suck :(. To be honest I wouldn't expect anything less out of Nemesis, although they do some nice work (sometimes) this is just one of many stories I have heard about bad experiences with them. Those experiences I will keep to myself though :). Mitul.

Dobedo, yep I'm 100% sure they're HID's...first off colour-wise (blue) when they start up and then second when they auto-level. I'm pretty certain these are some of the traits of HID lamps :). jdmpart_guru: I'll get some pictures for you on Friday :).

JTanoyo1: I've already snipped the harness wire trying to install the damn thing by splicing :( Any idea which wires what? Please? lol...is it the same as the Supra? I'm guess it would be? Or maybe you could have a wiring diagram of your HKS harness which says which wires are connected where etc? lol

Hey people, I'm trying to install a GReddy Full Auto Turbo Timer, the new one with the blue colour display...I'd like to know which wires are which at the ignition wiring loom...I need to know which is the 12V cable, and there seems to be THREE "on" cables :( Which one's do I use? Hey there people, I would be grateful if anyone on here could give me some directions as to how I can remove the HID bulb and replace it...I'm asking as the lights right now look weird...one looks yellow whilst the other one looks white, so I bought a pair of HID bulbs. Thanks in advance, Mitul.

I doubt a backbox will increase power in any way without having the mid-pipe and decat pipes done, that's when you'll notice a bit of a power gain :). A backbox will give you better aesthetics and sound pretty good (depending on what you go for and what your tastes are).

Does that mean the sheet metal will be exposed in the doors? If so is it easy to sound deaden the doors more than they are from factory? Does taking off the door cover reveal all the stock holes in the doors?

Aren't pressure washer's bad for the lacquer on the paint?

Thanks for the info man it's really given me a few ideas here and there :). I'm just going to be replacing the mids with some JL XR mids and the tweets well I'll see if I can remove the existing ones, if not then I might as well leave it as it looks like a PITA to remove them without damaging them. Also got a 10" Elemental Designs 11Kv2 to run IB in the rear. The rears will just be some JL Audio XR Coaxials. You have any idea how to wire the inputs of the stock CD Changer into an amp? I mean where is the amp first of all? And if there's different cables on the amp, I'd like to know which is which? That way I can swap out the amps hehe and if I can do that I'll be going fully three way active with the components up front with about 200watts RMS per side off a ADS PQ20 amplifier (for tweets & mids) and a Hifonics Vulcan for the midbass drivers. All out SQ whilst having everything ALMOST stock looking! :D Thanks again, Mitul.

Hey people, I was just wondering what size mids in the front (door speakers) of the Aristo are...are they 6.5" mids? I'm curious about anyone having done anything to the ICE in a Aristo/GS300 with the Touchscreen CD Player. I'm looking at basically upgrading the front speakers as they don't really sound "ALL THAT" to me. Sure enough they sound good but not good enough lol. Anybody know how to remove the speakers? Or has anyone ever done what I'm saying above? Using the stock 6disc changer with a new amp? Or does anyone know what impedance mids are being used? 4ohm? I'm already upgrading the subwoofer this month with a new one...a nice new 10" sub IB in the rear deck made by Elemental Designs should get the lower end sounding not so muddy. Yep a picture or two would help ALOT! Also I'm getting the kit version from Japan for the Aristo as I couldn't find it easily over here...from what I know there's a difference between the Supra and Aristo Blow-off's hence why bought it from Japan...anyways pictures would help a lot :). I should be getting it tomorrow :D
