  2. Ahh I see. Still it provided some amusing reading :) It did indeed. There's a watch forum I look at occasionally and some of the exchanges are ridiculous. Can make for an interesting interlude at times Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. Actually he become pretty nasty, certainly for this forum, so the last few posts were deleted and the topic closed by the mods. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. Not all F Sports have AVS as it is an optional extra in the UK. As above if the car has it the rotary dial with have Sport+ on it. If you select it by turning the rotary dial through the options, i.e. If in Normal it would be two turns to the right, the dash colours will turn from blue to a deep red. 5. Not from the outside. If there is a pic of the interior and you can see the rotary dial on the centre console, AVS cars have a Sport+ setting. Pretty poor if the dealers don't know that! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Excellent pics indeed! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. The car won't do anything like 20-30 miles on the battery alone. Max under perfect conditions is a mile ish, unless rolling down a massive hill I suppose. The hybrid battery is principally there to support the engine not replace it. Stop start traffic sees it at its best IMO
  8. My previous F-sport had a reverse camera. Premium navigation includes it. Mine had it and so does the NX Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Welcome to the club Ian! Look forward to seeing some pics of the new car! You may well be wearing those rose tinted glasses for quite a while . The suspension is a little stiffer in the F Sport but it's so subjective everyone's view is different. If it's ok for you, that's all that matters.
  10. I assume the solution was as suggested? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Well done, glad you've found it. My only slight gripe is that if the light does come on you've no idea which tyre is affected (unless a complete flat of course), especially with the low profiles. Be good if the sensor told you which one it was. First world problem I accept [emoji6] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. I think on the Nav screen click on the compass icon and there are 2 or 3 view options, one is 'always north' I believe. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I have every sympathy. Been there done that etc. Rayaans will know the nearest but it won't be perfect. Dare I ask whether you bought the cover? [emoji15] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. No, it is fitted just devilish to find! It's a tiny nipple ish [emoji15] button sort of half way down the steering column. Keep searching, it is there, as the actress said.... [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Don't forget the active sound can be turned up/down/off by the scroll wheel near your left knee (apologies if you know this already).
  16. Really!?! I was not aware that you could challenge the insurance "forcing" you to use their approved repairer. I'd be interested in seeing a legal document saying this... and print it for future reference! They can't force you to use their approved repairer but can make it difficult, by not giving you a courtesy car for example. In my case they also challenged the labour rate Lexus charged, but soon backed down when Lexus showed they had previously agreed the rate on other claims. They also offered me a cash alternative which was lower than Lexus's repairer quote, perhaps hoping I'd take that and go away. I didn't and they duly paid the whole bill, less the excess of course. 17. Glad you're enjoying it! Sport mode is fun too [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Thanks for the update, always good to hear nothing going wrong! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  19. Like it! At least let us know what spec and colour etc[emoji6] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  20. Looks very nice indeed. Going to be a long weekend [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. IMO it's no problem at all in Normal mode, put it in Sport and it is very responsive indeed. In Eco there is a bit of a lag so personally I wouldn't bother using that mode. I don't think you will be disappointed at all. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  23. I agree with Rayaan's post above. Admiral wanted me to use their approved repairer and I flatly refused, in fact I took it straight to Lexus before even contacting Admiral. Lexus rustled up a courtesy car, which my policy doesn't provide unless you use their repairers. There was a row over the labour rates until Lexus proved Admiral had previously agreed them on other claims, and Lexus provided the photos. Admiral eventually agreed and the work was done without any grief at all. I doubt the approved repairer had even seen an NX, never mind replaced a front bumper and all that goes with it. My renewal has just come up and I have a 4 car multi policy with them. The premium for all the cars went through the roof and I was able to switch all the cars to Aviva and reduce the premiums compared to last year, let alone comparing to the renewal premium. 24. Yeah, we love to hear how newbie Lexus drivers get on [emoji3] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. £100 will cover it easily. From memory I think mine were £80 each (if I was paying for them). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
