  2. best is to take of the bumper and have a look. could be a few things, but before that make sure you have filled up the washer tank to full
  3. yes mate they are the ones. picture is stock yaris but the info is right
  4. i work for them here in sweden and do this for a job, forgot to add auris to that list. all of these fit as i make up winter wheels all day. just when getting the older avensis to make sure it's diseil as petrol have 5/100
  5. there are a few that fit. avensis disel 16" 5/114 fit new shape anvensis and verso fit camry 16" fit corolla verso gen 2 fit only thing to think about is the et on the new verso and avensis are 39 and it should be 45. they still fit but sit out a bit more. any of these are good for the is200
  6. also can write this up in swedish and post it on the lexus club sweden
  7. me to. have digital speedo just now, any chance you have other colours. have also been doing a costom led fitting over the car with some walk through and the jap spec speedo
  8. braking distance is longer and corner holding is worse for softer rubber, also if you slam on the brakes when there is no snow or ice on the road your tyres will get hot and it melts it,s dead, flat spot, have thrown many away in my job because of this
  9. i use mine with winter tyres, 3 years with no problems or ditches. just get your self a bit of weight in the boot, a big bag of sand or cat little and just easy driving all the way. summer timer is when you can have fun, winter time is staying alive
  10. max 5mm without changing the studs out, ebay has longer studs for sale for a few pounds each. then you can put 10 - 15 mm spacers on but you will need to fix the geo on the car and watch out for heavy wear on the bearings
  11. no but a good think is to get the clocks with the engine so it matches up and you can sell it as is with the right milage. only thing i can think of is to replace some of the basic parts that might be worn.
  12. had a quote for the whole car in full leather with doorcards and headrests for 700 pounds. will see if i can find the guy who does it again
  13. toyota have a nice one with the 6 speed markings on it, leather and in dark grey. a bit like this one http://www.tm-developments.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=31_32_1&products_id=11
  14. not that much space in the back for the baby seat, have been using mine while i buy and sell the toyota verso, also not loving the marks on the leather seat but it's only for a few weeks
  15. why not pull it apart and clean it, also if you have a lock that has had some abuse, ie not pushing in while removing the key then this will over time mess it up. you can buy the lock and change over the pins, i know we do this a bit at work.
  16. you can try a ecu reset, either remove the battery cables for 10 minutes or take out the 2 fuses in the motor fuse box. think they are efi and ecu, then run the car and check if the fault is comming back,i had a small problem when i did some mods and had a fault, after a reset it has never shown up again
  17. a picture of the one i just did with colour change
  18. you need to remove the whole thing. first the heater vents and tray on the top, then the stereo and heater controls need to come out. remove the lower heated seat switch aand trc unit. just pulls out towards you. then there are 2 numberr 10 bolts at the bottom and 2 at the top. but if you dont want to scratch up your car place loads of tape down both sides of the stereo unit. better to look at the walkthrough for removing the stereo
  19. look on ebay, both manuals and this top box come up from time to time, there is also a gps unit that was on there a while back fitted with a sony gps unit. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lexus-200-Owners-Manual-Handbook-/320759195672?pt=UK_CarParts_Vehicles_Manuals_Litterature_ET&hash=item4aaebce818 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lexus-200-owners-manual-/170695444899?pt=UK_CarParts_Vehicles_Manuals_Litterature_ET&hash=item27be3dc9a3
  20. if you remove the cover to the gauge, 2 screws at the top you will see 3 screws holding it in place. then you should be able to get behind and remove the wiring plugs, then the best thing is to remove the clear plastic glass from the unit and the check the needle is ok. plug the unit back in and check if it's working, pull the needle out just a little bit and check again. but before you replace the gauge you can check it with one known working unit if you know someone with another car. there are a few ways to keep your milage if it's just a broken needle
  21. i guess there are a few ways to find out whats going on with in. first you can take it apart and check that the needle is not stuck, to you can check the feed wire to make sure there is some kind of feed, get it hooked up to a obd reader to see that there is no problems, options are to buy a secound hand unit from ebay and swap them over or live with it.
  22. you need 5/114,3 et around 40/45 and 60,1 hub, toyota have a few, CHEVROLET Transport/Alero CHRYSLER Voyager/Concord/Intrepid/Vision/300M/New Yorker DAEWOO Leganza DAIHATSU Terios FORD Probe/Maverick 01-/Escape 01- HONDA Accord 03-/CRV/HRV/Prelude 5-bult/Legend/Shuttle/Stream HYUNDAI Tucson/Santa Fe/Coupe 5-bult/H1 Starex -00/Trajet/XG25/XG30 INFINITY FX-35/45 JEEP Grand Cherokee -99/Cherokee KIA Opirus/Carnival LAND ROVER Freelander LEXUS IS/ES/GS/LS/SC/RX MAZDA 3/6/323 5-bult/626/MPV/MX6/RX8/Tribute/Premacy/Xedos MITSUBISHI Grandis/Outlander/Space Gear/Space Runner 99-/Space Wagon 99-/L300-Wagon/Pajero Pinin NISSAN Maxima QX/Almera 5-bult/X-Trail/Maxima/Primera 5-bult/Serena OPEL Sintra PONTIAC Transport/Grand Prix/Bonneville 88- ROVER Freelander TOYOTA Corolla Verso/Avensis Verso/Camry V6/Previa/MR-2/Picnic/Supra 3,0/RAV-4/HiAce
