  1. hankook k107. i have been using them for 2 years now and have only great things to say about them.
  2. well mine are on all the time as drl the same as my halo rings on the main lights. i also have hid fogs behind there so if the police say i'm running my fogs i can say no and turn the fogs on to prove it. also the fact i put a lense in there to aim the hids to down so there is no way they can dazzle. i hear all the people who think it's dumb to drive with fogs on and i agree with them thats why i did the halo rings and it passed the mot and the swedish mot is harder than the uk one for sure
  3. as i live in sweden we must have our light on all day and night no matter what the weather is. and againg your not aloud to have your fogs on unless it's foggy but are aloud drl lights on. so my answer was this. to custom my fogs to do both jobs. first i fitted lenses to the fogs and put hid 8000 in there. then i fitted halo rings in the front and this was the output for drl in the day
  4. headlight leveler i think. this is the power conector to it. the hid units if you have them sit under the light but you can tell if you have them by removing the dip beap cover and if you find a metal procted wires with a metal plug on it the it's hid
  5. that one in the pic was mine. i sold it for 30 pounds a while back
  6. yer but thats not a worry for me as not i'm running a turbo set up i've lost some top speed from the car. sure when it's done i will be getting 200 kph but before the turbo i was getting the full 250 kph or 150mph so this i can live with.
  7. a little video to show it working. i know it's bad but to much ice on the roads just now. will post a new one later on
  8. well fitted it today and bingo. most of the things are working and just a few small things to fix. still have the digital display to change colour on and i'm just waiting for the leds to come. hope you like.
  9. it's plug and play for the kmh but will need to rewire the whole thing so i can remove it if i need to and plub the old one back in. getting a extra set of plugs for it so i will keep the other ones inplace.as to the oil presure i have one already in the car. 52mm gauge pod style so i will use that one as the oem one and just change the back plate so it's right... i hope
  10. well it came today so here is a pic will be doing a custom fit with blue led
  11. you can see how much inside space you have and then get a company to skim away on the center bringing in the et.
  12. yes mate it's a solder job. and i used these this type for the clock. just paint the center bit white so you dont gey spots of light http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/10X-Car-T5-70-37-306-Dashboard-Blue-LED-Light-Bulb-Lamp-/300500490207?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item45f73997df and these for the heater controls. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2-X-T5-BLUE-5050smd-SUPER-BRIGHT-WEDGE-AUTO-LAMP-LED-/190448298209?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2c579a68e1 and i put an extra 6 bulbs in there. just super glued then in place and then wired them into the board. bit of a job but the end result is good
  13. well have been home sick the last week so i had a bit of time on my hands to done a little project or 2 so the first one was the heater controls and also going to do the needles in my gauge and in the heater controls then the window controls also have the heated seats done but will be trying something else as the outcome was not as bright as i wanted. next was the custom gauge holder and last was the new gauge i ordered from japan. will be here soon i hope and when i've finished it should look like this.
  14. i did custom made halo ring fog lights aswell and halo rings in the main lights.
  15. the block was used in many cars. the g series is listed like this * Toyota Altezza/Lexus IS 200 * Toyota Crown * Toyota Chaser * Toyota Mark II * Toyota Cresta http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_G_engine thats why a few people like me have a 1g gte engine from a supra mk3 for the pistons and rods are stronger. remove them and then fit them into the 1gfe engine. the 2jz has a lot of them aswell http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_JZ_engine
  16. there are 2 types of controls out there. i brought a set to do my led change but found they were diferent. might be that. or could be your ac not working. hope someone on here has some more idea's for you. and a pic of my heater controls now i've changed the colour
  17. if you still have the old one then put it back in and buy a set of chrome knob covers from ebay for 37 pounds. or take you unit apart and fix it. these knobs have a wire control thing on the back. you can also just sway the broken dial with the one from you not working unit
  18. check your fuses as i had something like that after my clutch was done. and to cut a long story i forgot the fuse to the electric throttle. main engin bay fuse box.
  19. time to get a new clutch. i just did mine and got a sports clutch. very nice feel to it. was a good price. 180 pounds
  20. the chrome ring around the gear cover is what comes up. it just pops up. if you put your hand down the bottom of the gear cover and try to go inside and lift it just pops off
  21. it's just a t5. remove the gear knob by twisting till it is unscrewed. then lift up the gear cover till it pops up and lift it up till you can get to the underside of the ashtray. there you will the wires and bulb holder. twist it 1/4 and it should come out. replace the bulb. turn on the lights to confirm it's working then put it all back
