    i did it myself with help from friends at work( toyota sweden). i shopped a 2jz kit and made it fit my 1gfe. but along the way i got my hands on a 1ggte complete engine so early next year i will do a piston and rods swap and take it over 400bhp. we were up to 280 on the dyno before the clutch started to slip. have a new clutch here waiting to go in next week. my advice is to look at doing a 1g gte swap if you can or a 2jz swap and go from there. but the power is worth it. now my car goes like it should and feels like the car it should have been. there was a kit for sale on the for sale section but i have no idea if it's gone

    i also work for toyota and we had one in the secound hand showroom. looked at it every day as i walked buy. then i brought it without a test drive just went ahaed and never looked back.

    also if you were looking for a dvd gps unit then i shopped one from this place. www.cartek.com.hk had mine over a year without problems and it's ok for the money. sound 6/10 video 8/10 looks 8/10 gps 8710 going to fit new speakers and amps etc soon.

    well i have the car back from the dyno. had to stop the runs as the oem clutch was slipping at 250 bhp. will fit a new fensport one next week and head back to the dyno for another 70 or 80 bhp before i do a 1g gte piston and rod swap early next year. then 400 if the mark. more photo's will follow just a quick one to get you started

    under the rear seat is a hatch and here is the filter on the end of the pupm housing. but as stav say's you should not need to replace it

    then it must be naf mate. sorry if it sounded funny. but you never know if people put them in right. just offered advice incase it was that simple. hope you get it fixed ok.

    looks like you have not fitted it right. there are some clips that must go in on that side first. like putting a shoe on. take it off and try fitting the side sticking out in your photo first. have fitted mine ok so i think you have miss fitted it

    you can go to a local tyre shop. they should have a set of tools to remove these kind of things. i know we do. or have someone weld a nut to each one then remove them like this

    if your going to use just ipod then think about fitting a grom unit. plugs into your harness and lets you keep the oem look

    chech as there are 3gse engines in altezzas as well as beam engines.

    here in sweden i just phone them up and they say ... np.... take a picture and hold on to the recipts. and my insurance went down by 60 pound this year and i added a turbo and another 10000 pounds worth of stuff to the car and more than dubbling the bhp from 155 to 320. no a word from them just a thank you for calling. think you guys in the uk are being ripped off.

    people have had water leaking into the fuse boxes in the footwell. might be that. never had it myself

    might be the light sensor or relay etc, but might be worth getting it looked at before you get pulled over by the police...

    i have 20" and 17" spare and there is only a small difference. only 7mm difference total. i work for toyota doing wim and tyres so there is no real problem with this. mine is 11mm smaller but still this is ok

    buy a old vw and get classic car insurance. way cheaper if i remember right
