  1. I have a Lexus Kit in my IS250. I love it, very simple to use. I'm not bothered about the artists showing up. I just put it on shffle and let it play away, great for long journeys
  2. I have an IS250SE-L. I done a recent trip(just for a drive) from Birmingham to Bangor(Noth Wales) back to Birmingham. There was a mixture of roads and motorway driving to Bangor and then I drove on the A5 all the way to Telford where i joined the M54 back to Birmingham. I drove carefully and did not accelerate hard, according to the trip readout the tank average was 41.9MPG I was well chuffed as I am used to seeing it read araound 32MPG. I am trying to upload a picture of the MPG but having some problems, I shall try to get that sorted soon
  3. I havn't seen one on the road yet either. I was passing Lincoln the other day and as I passed the Lexus dealer I saw an ISF there as I passed by. I turned around and went and had a look at it, it is an fantastic car IMO
  4. From what I hear the manual gearbox is not up to much, as alrady stated if I was you I would look into a 250 Auto, I have one and I love it.
  5. I would think that the airport scales would actually be calibrated. In 14 years of being an expat I have never been charged with excess baggage, when I think my bag is too heavy I always check the weight on the bathroom scales
  6. I know it is a bit late in the day now but there is a sub woofer on ebay at the moment Clicky Here
  7. Well at least you will be able to get her to the hospital faster when she is due LOL
  8. That is a great looking car. I hope one day I can afford one of them
  9. I wish I could have made it. That's a fine line up of cars there. I will try to get to one of these meets soon
  10. There is a set of Genuine ones on ebay at the moment for 35 quid plus postage. Clicky Here
  11. When i brought my IS250 it had black vavle caps on. I purchased some chrome ones with the Lexus Logo on them. When I fitted them I nipped them up with a 10mm spanner so no one can undo them by hand. The prices do vary i think I paid about 6 quid all in for mine. Clicky Me to view.
  12. I brought a set of Rubber mats to put on top of the mats that came with the car. Much easier to clean
  13. Don't think it's anything that any of us have done to our registry or cookies, I believe that there is someone :tsktsk: (webmaster?) who is of the opinion that he knows best and has decided to change the web page display for us, like it or not Yeh you most likely right, As I say I am not to clued up on computers, but once I ran the cleaner the forum displayed normal again that's why I thought it was maybe it was soemthing to do with the cookies or something like that I had the problem on IE8, I do sometimes use FireFox as well and I have never had it happen when using that. Now that you mention it, that is exeactly when it happens to me after I have done a google search and viewed the thread via google
  14. I have the same problem occasionally. After I cleaned my system with the registry cleaner I use the board went back to normal view, this has happened to me 2 times. Maybe it is something to do with the cookies or something, I do not know two much about computers :mat:
  15. That is good to hear that it has not been in a major shunt. Lexus replaced my locking wheel nuts under free of charge because I complained that they were rusty, I had three rusty ones and one silver one so they replaced the complete set
  16. If the car still has warranty the wheels etc will be covered anyway. I brought an 07 approved Lexus in March. When I was looking for one they were a bit hard to get hold of, I wanted a Claxton Grey with Black interior, I was doing what you are, checking the websites daily and when I saw the type I wanted I got on the blower and asked them to keep it until my old man had been round to look at it as I was overseas. Obviously the car was immaculate so I brought it, I know it may be higher in price but I got the peace of mind buying an approved car. There was a couple of issues that had to be done like the squeaky dash which is common and a couple of other minor things; they took it back with no queries whatsoever and repaired it. They even changed the locking wheel nuts as the old ones were rusting slightly, this was done under warranty. I did not negotiate too much on the price as they gave me a fairly good price for my 57 Astra, Lexus Wolverhampton offered me 950 more than Lexus Birmingham did, how they worked that out I don't know :o The car is back now from the repairs and I am stuck overseas again and not coming home till the end of May. I can't wait to get back and drive the car. I cannot praise the team at Lexus Wolverhampton enough, they have been real helpful to me keeping in touch via emails and I will drive there to get the car serviced etc even though Lexus Birmingham is nearer.
  17. Not sure how much you want to spend, but I saw this on ebay Clicky Me to view.
