  2. Found these for sale, how nice http://www.touringcarspares.com/car_details.php?id=81 http://www.touringcarspares.com/car_details.php?id=72
  3. Those connectors on the back are standard ISO stereo connectors so would only be a matter of disconnecting your stereo and connecting this one to see if it works
  4. Spend the most that you can. The problem with alot of covers is that with our great british weather they can stick to your paint work and when you come to take it of rip of some laquer and damage the car. As said get the best one you can afford, I've got a custom made one for £200 for my other car that only comes out in the sun and that kept in a garage.
  5. As said try pushed the key in a bit before taking it out. Thats what I have to do with mine to release it
  6. my mate has a trade policy but his not a trader and you don't need trade paltes to have one. His policy also ahs a maximum car value so he can only drive cars up to £7000 in value. He also has always got the cars in his name so he can then sell them on. His not registered as a trader and just buys and sell a hand full of cars a year and as he changes his everyday car every few months it works out easier for him. It cost him about £600-700 a year for him and his wife. So not that expensive
  7. Traders policy are only avaliable to over 25's I think.
  8. What his saying is. Even though you are insured to drive on the car, if you had an accident and it was found that you used the car for say 80% of the time over your dad, then they might not pay out due to them seeing you as the main driver. I use Swift, cost me just over £350 I always say if you can't afford the running costs then get a cheaper car.
  9. Give them a tap aroound the outer edge with a hammer to try and release them
  10. As said the 200 is nice and quiet unless you rev it ahrd, so unless your car has got an induction kit on there might be something wrong with it if it making that much of a noise. Not to sure what you mean my touchy throttle? Mines fine
  11. No point getting it repaired just get a GROM or after market unit as said above.
  12. have you tried swapping over the connectors to connect to the other box from the bypass lead?
  13. You can have it done on any car. Sanding out orange peel works on all colours
  14. His side profile says Location:Northallerton
  15. Got me some, Lexus roof bars and halfords rack for them keeps my bike safe and secure on my IS200 for a total of £90
  16. Whats USDM? I've got my rear drivers side quater window covered in smiley faces.
  17. That all depends on who your insured with as some won't add anything and some will it all down to the individual company
  18. If the whole car is vibrating then this could be any items and something seroius. Like a suspension component You should get the rears balanced as well.
  19. Could still be inbalanced wheels. Also as you say suspension bushes, track control arms, ball joints all worth checking.
  20. I've just paid £120 for a full set of discs and Mintex pads from Ebay. Can't fault them, real good stopping power. But I am a fan of Mintex pads on all my cars
  21. Why not just get your standard rims refubed will only cost £100-200, where as a new set of rims is going to cost at least £500 for a decent set of 17" which are needed on an IS to fill the arches
