  5. Well it was MOT time today. I was expecting the worst. But only needs a new passenger bottom ball joint and the front passenger caliper thats sticking on. I'm happy with that for a 10 year old car thats done nearly 165 thousand. My mates on the case and its retest is tomorrow :)

  10. As above you can't compare Honda to Lexus in the volume stakes. There will always be more activity on a Honda forum than on here due to the coverage of the range of cars from Honda compared to Lexus as well.

  16. What is your actual question as there are several things in your post. Are you saying your fans don;t work you rad is broken?????? Best way to check fans are wokring is go out in car get up to temp then when you get home leave the car running and wait for the temp to rise and the fans to kick in if they don't switch car off before it gets to hot and find out why they don't come on.
  17. I can get alloys refurbed for £10-20 each wheel at the place I use. But would say £250 is the going rate at most places
  18. Yeah the clip missing will make your pads rattle like hell. had the same problem with mine
  19. The aircon does put extra strain on the engine as it has an extra pulley to turn so the revs do rise now and again on tickover to cope with this extra requirement
  20. Yeah my problem was with the rubber seal that sits round the edge of the sunroof
  21. have you checked the seal is sitting right. Had a similar problem with mine and it was the rear part of the seal not sitting right so the roof wouldn't shut
  22. Steam coming out the bonnet can be casued by more than just a HG failure. Was the temperature going up before hand? Is there oil in the water or water in the oil (check the oil cap for a foamy white residue)
