  1. Would they not need to have all the powder coating etc stripped off with the polishing? What sort of finish would you get when polishing them then? Stu
  2. That sounds like a top idea Paul! What you reckon Scarface, would the ol' bill fancy a challenge from us in a few sports contests? Stu
  3. Like the idea of the police facilities, sounds like they have all we could need there! Lets decide on some dates for this then, and see whats avaliable. And also, get some definate attendance figures, as it's pointless doing this if theres only gonna be 20 people show up. Stu
  4. Kinda rules that one out then! Pretty sure there aren't any plt ice IS's with a high level spoiler on in the club! Stu
  5. Nah, just switch em over. Would think that could be done without too much hassle! Your motor ain't a royal sapphire blue tho is it? Stu
  6. Shame your motor ain't royal sapphire blue, otherwise i'd consider swapping! Stu
  7. Welcome to the club! :D If you join our GOLD membership scheme, you will have access to a HUGE list of companies that supply parts for Lexus motors (and at a discounted rate too!) If we can be of any help, just gis a shout! :D :D :D Stu
  8. AHEM - NAME & SHAME THAT DEALER!!!! Stu
  9. Glad you're getting it sorted out so quick, i've had loads of trouble trying to get my insurance company to authorise £350 worth of work! Glad you're OK bud! Slightly off topic, but i don't think i'm gonna be able to make this Saturday bud, got some other stuff that i have to do (under orders from the missus!) Sorry! :D Stu
  10. The summer would be an ideal time for this, and if it was at somewhere like Billing, they have the extra activities avaliable for those that wish to do them, but the main focus is on the charity events i think. Stu
  11. Nice one bazza, couldn't recall where they were, or if there was a replacement avaliable to cut out the spoiler brake light. Stu
  12. The only issue i can think of would be that unless you connected the new spoilers brake light (if it has one) in the exact same place and manner as the standard one, you would have a bulb out warning light on on the dash permanently. There is a circuit board or something that adds the led brake light in the spoiler to the bulb out warning circuit. The other option is to figure out where that is, and remove it. Stu
  13. Well, the car is going in for repair next week, and i'll have it back a week later, so will need to save some cash, and then i think i'll either give you a ring, or pop in to see you (depending on where you are that is!) Stu
  14. How about Billing Aquadrome? We have a good relationship with them don't we? Stu
  15. I may have access to a venue, but it is not central to the country, it's in suffolk (Bury St Edmunds to be precise), and the rugby may have to go coz it's a field at one of my parents places, and i don't fancy playing and losing my face on a stone! So it could just be a 5-a-side foorti tournament with rounders etc thrown in for some laughs, show and shine contest and maybe others if there is call for it, trade stands, food etc etc, so basically another weekend meet, but for charity, and open to TOC too! Camping can be an option for those that are on a long haul, or just want a few beers. What ya reckon chaps and chapesses? It's just a suggestion, if you can think of a more suitable idea, let me know! Stu
  16. Also, a venue will need to be found thats as central to everyone as possible, that can cater for the sports we are hoping to play. Also, if we are going to do something like a show and shine contest, we will need a car parking area (either grass or hard), and somewhere to put the BBQ and any trade stands that want to go (A fee will need to be discussed!) Any suggestions? Stu
  17. Now we need to start firming up the plans if we are going to do this, so: Lets decide what sports you are wanting to play, the options so far are below, if you could either post up here or PM me if you have any more sport suggestions to add, and to let me know where to add your name in the list! Stu Rugby chippiestu4 (Stu) Fargo (Paul) 5 a side footie Scarface Rounders chippiestu4 (Stu) Scarface
  18. There are other things that could be done on the day too, for example if there are going to be a number of members cars there we could have a show and shine contest (with an entry fee) sponsored by someone or a company, have a BBQ and charge a small amount for the produce (that has been donated by the members)....... The possibilities are endless.......... Lets do it! Stu
  19. WOOOHHOOOOO!!! The car is going in for repair on wednesday next week!!! :D :D :D :D :D About time! Stu
  20. Things like karting and golf and paintball aren't gonna raise that much for the charities, but if thats what the general concensus wishes to do, then that's what we'll do. Just thought that the opportunity for having a selection of team based sports would give wider scope for fund raising. Stu
  21. ok so what are we going to do here? Stu
  22. i was after a set of these, but could never get a price or a part number for them. If you can get prices etc, let me know. Stu
  23. Good Luck with that bit mate, my missus ain't keen on me being out working on mine at the weekends, let alone when i am on holiday! Stu
