quick way is to get some heat on the sides of the nut & use a spanner.
try that if nothing works.
the ball joint nut will be slight tighter than the track rod end nut.
good luck.
im sure you got to loosen the rack then replace the bushes. you dont have to remove all the rack & disconect the pipes.
i cant remember to the fullest.
hope someone here can shed some light on this for you -
hello.
as far as i know you need the seals replaced. you could mess about with silicone agent to prevent it getting worse.
someone who fits windscreens should be able to install it for you. maybe autoglass.
welcome to the forum olly '
if i were you i would just spray the caliper unit matt black. it will go with the car.
the discs you could replace if they are not good. genuine dealer part is the way to go as most copies will get warped very quick.
get some pics after your touch ups!
they are not the best of economy for that spec engine but a DIESEL ? . . . no way!
petrol lexus all the way for me.
besides there is no point of doing a diesel engine convertion.
if required then i suggest buy one standard.
15mpg in return i get. it hurts but part of the fun' :P
a friend of mine brought an IS200 with LPG which was fitted 3 months ago when purchased.
a week later of hes ownership the car started missfiring.
all checks were done & many parts were replaced.
it had come down to the valves burnt out which was caused by the LPG.
in the end the engine was replaced & sold the car on with the LPG!
i was told it was an italian LPG unit installed.
tricky stuff - its just luck i guess. but i wouldnt risk something for an engine!
