  6. Go for it, we used to have quite regular meetings at the Plank and Leggit, Sawley Marina. The M1 junction 24 ( East Midlands Airport) is just down the road as is the A50 and A453 from Nottingham so easily accessible from Notts,Derbys,Leics,S.Yorks and Staffs. There is also a large car park, refreshments and food are available at the venue Take a look. http://www.fayre-squ...ng-eaton/m6973/ looks an excellent place, Thanks for the go ahead, last car club i was a member of (certain vauxhall club) got snotty if you tried to organise anything without being an area rep. Could you point me to the right area to post a meet in please?
  7. If im allowed wouldnt mind organising one for east midlands area for the summer, Im stuck with leg in plaster at minute and would give me something to do.
  8. you didnt buy it did you? i try to stay off e-bay every time i go on i see something new, I must resist LOL.
  9. sounds like a ballast problem to me, one on each headlight, if bulbs are ok only option is to replace ballast units. Are they aftermarket or retro fit is300 units?
  10. Go for the is300, posted on your other thread as well. plus when i changed from is200 to the 300 insurance was cheaper.....figure that out?
  11. I did the above and the is300 was an improvement over the is200, mpg was about the same but loved the auto/manual box. You also get full leather interior, front armrest, self dipping rear view and side mirrors, halogen headlights and of course more power. wouldnt have gone back but i was unlucky enough to get one with what sounded like a minor repair to gearbox (oil pipe) but ended up much worse. couldnt afford to buy another so went back to is200 purely because of purchase price. Definately go for is300 if you can but when viewing dont let your heart rule your head......lovely cars.
  12. yeah £10 posted for a bit of metal for clock, LOL.
  13. Its only the condensation in the exhaust burning off while engines cold and the usual warm gas/ cold air......nothing to worry about.
  14. If i had one of those id never go in the house, looks very comfy.
  15. Dont let the mpg put you off, not as bad as some say my is200 auto is comparable if not better then the old vectra 2.0 i had....
  16. I've used these on my last 2 is200,s great brakes for the price have lasted well with no warping etc. And they do pads for another £15. http://www.ebay.co.u....item2a033a3d77
  17. I had never done a cambelt in my life, but following the guide on here managed to do it in 2 hours.Easy really.
  18. remove the bolt just to left of glovebox hinge and above bundle of wires from fuse box in pic, the top one holding bracket and lastly one holding dash moulding, pull dash toward you and wiggle amp from mounting bracket.
  19. Bargain, very nice, enjoy it. See the petrol guage is in its usual position LOL.
  20. Not bad but theres an is300 for £1750 and thats good. Been talking to him and hed swap for an is200 as well only thing is hes in london and im in derbyshire...
  21. If you want to send me 4 standard nuts you can have mine with 4 caps.holes are elongating on one of the nuts.
  22. Be careful though they are for aftermarket wheels not standard lexus wheels.
