Don't think there is a current going to the aerial, are you sure? yep theres a power wire to aerial amplifier, black wire moulded to aerial cable with connector on the end, if you dont power this when changing stereo reception of radio is naff.

Just had another look and they are not full covers like the front, just panels which fit inbetween body and back bumper.

Should have them on the back as well

Its a standard bumper with the lexus corner spats fitted and the middle part of bumper sprayed black, Wanted something different so didnt go for the usual sport bumper.

mine, 2001 is200 s auto.

Dont see there would be anything to get worked up about, theres more shape to an ironing board.

Mine isnt vinyl i sprayed it with satin black spray paint, I found it lasts better than vinyl.

I swapped the standard sat-nav for a mio unit that has tv and microsd for playing music through standard stereo so dont use cassette or cd player either, whats puzzling though is mine is the s version without amp but the sound is richer in this one than my old se with so called premium sound system....??????

firstly you would need a band expander as frequencies are different, secondly you would have to have sat nav unit already installed to watch tv and lastly will only fit uk spec is200 ,S, version as works without the amp.

My most recent purchase is an is200 s the basic version..LOL., and to be truthful now ive swapped seats for half leather version its as good as the se i had before. Also being the less desirable model you can get a better deal. I bought mine with fsh, private plate (2001 year) the 17" wheels,90k for £1100 as seller had no interest.

ive got a 2001 model S and its far from a shed. Although i must admit it does now have heated half leathers, headlamp washers, 17 original wheels and sat nav..oh and the rare front corner spats.Not a rust spot anywhere and just clocked 90k Yeah but you put all that on so now it has the SE navigator spec as I guess you were not happy with the 'S' . That's my point it wasn't up to Lexus standard in my opinion. The build quality of the car is not in dispute, I would expect it to have no rust and still be in good condition if looked after which obviously yours is. The bodywork is up to Lexus standard of course. Most 11 year 'S' models I've seen on auto trader and the like do however look like sheds lol :) see your point, and yes the standard s spec is naff,

Depends on he grade of stainless, if its t405 it will get surface rust, if its t302 like aftermarket systems it will stay silver. Used to work for magnex who made both types.

check the plug has been replaced in the amp behind glovebox, as said above previous owner prob fitted an aftermarket cd. Had exact same thing on my previous is200.

if you add rca plugs to amp input leads, you can then use amp pre-outs on new head unit to power original amp. Did it in my old 99 year is200.

The flashing M and Range means theres a fault with gearbox, had it on my old is300, ended up scrapping it, hope the same doesnt apply to you.

its only the overbumper lips that wont fit, eg trd front lip, rear bumper lower valance, the bumper you are looking for is the full bumper so will fit uk models.
