what made you go back to the IS200 Ian? Not by choice mate, bought it from bristol, all was fine on test drive and on way home, next day gearbox decided to drop all its oil , also having a look round i realised eml light didnt come on with ignition...found out bulb had been removed. The reason being lambdas were fubared. At this point had a very good look at everything, rear lights had been siliconed on rather than bolted,numerous bolts missing from under bonnet. Had someone look at gearbox and a pipe had split (at some point it had been bodged with what looked like hosepipe), got a replacement and re-filled with oil but wouldnt change gear smoothly, was advised to replace gearbox but at this stage i had gone through x amount of cash and so i sold it as spares/repair. just in case it pops up again the reg is LS51 RHO.

Always wanted an Is200 since they came out, finally became affordable and bought one (well ive had 4 and an is300 so far). Used to have a ...dare i say it a..... vectra ! but was fed up of rust after every winter.

Just buy a key blank from ebay, Then you need a denso transponder from another key, then any locksmith can cut new key,our local one charges £5.Instructions to code to your car are posted on here.

You dont get the sunroof, headlamp washers,half leather seats or premium sound system as standard,but extra power makes up for it...LOL

I thought it was behind glovebox, you can put it anywhere in car though...will take it in itself. Be aware though if its one of the aerosol ones, i used one a while ago and made inside sort of damp hence some of switches didnt work until car dried out.

if you swap springs id be interested in your old ones, mines like a 4x4 at moment,LOL. should look even better with mods you have planned, keep up the good work.

Halfords i usually avoid, but had some aztec fire mixed by them and it was spot on colour wise. Dont think i could have got better from e-bay.

ive had 4 is200 and an is300, no major problems with rattles apart from sunroof.on the se version..And one which had a very annoying rattle which sounded as though it was behind dash, traced it to a metal pipe vibrating in engine bay. No problems apart from the above, best cars ive ever had.

It depends on what year youre car is, wether it should have the cd slot at top or bottom? Could be quite a chore trying to find a working bottom loader as they were known for err3.Also make sure the plug on your car fits new stereo as theres different sizes.

aah i get you in that case i definately have what you want, oem stereo plugs.
