  1. As far as i'm aware brakes are same as is200 Pete. So you are correct a press is needed. http://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-400-300/500936-tutorial-front-wheel-bearing-replacement.html
  2. Have a read here, might help to find the culprit. http://www.clutchpro.com.au/files/TSB-TB01.pdf
  3. Very nice, I do like that. Auto as well, best gearbox IMHO.
  4. Here's a link with step by step pictures to remove dash. http://my.is/forums/f90/does-anyone-have-listing-remove-dashboard-190942/index4.html I have e-mailed you a pdf file on how to remove matrix. Hope this helps and good luck.
  5. Ahhh, heater matrix behind dashboard. PM me your email address and i will send you the pdf.
  6. Are you trying to remove dashboard by any chance?
  7. Hope it's not too serious mate, added you to the list fella.
  8. Welcome to the club Steven, The most common fault with the 220d is head gasket failure, First sign is pressurised water from header tank spraying under bonnet. If you have a search on the 220 forum all info is on there, Sure some of the 220 owners will be able to give more input. Ian.
  9. As above Craig would be nice to see you there if you can make it.
  10. Please don't turn this into a for sale thread as it will be removed/edited. You have to be a Gold member to sell on the forums.
  11. These lights take forever to change. So that's where squirrells keep their nuts. Honest MOT station
  12. Recently our GS300 has been used to collect a greenhouse, horse bedding, duck food, and a load of glass sheets. As long as whoever uses it covers everything with sheets and cleans it afterwards it's ok by me. Miss the ski hatch from the IS200 though. Would be a different matter if the car was nearly new though,
  13. Welcome to the club Craig, Good luck in your search for the right car...
  14. Just thought i'd pop in and have a nosey, Well done Stuart for organising a meet for the more southerly members. Hope the weather's ok for you Ian.
  15. Okay, first thing to check is wiring for switches, where they usually fit near trc/snow button below stereo, there should be 2 switch blanks. Remove these and wiring plugs should be there attached to rear of blanks.
  16. Sorry to hear that Chris, Hope you find new employment soon.
  17. Surprised no one's snapped these up, Although unless refurbed it's hard to get mint 5 spokes as they are known to corrode. Pity mines only 16's or i would be at your door today.
  18. As Steve says check under seats for extra plugs first, some models had them and others not. Even if you don't have them can still be done. Report back if they are missing and i can help you more with diagrams ect.
  19. Or if you really want yellow tint, grab some fogs from an is300 they have yellow tint OEM. My old is200, you can just make them out
  20. Welcome to the club Tom, We have quite a few members from derbyshire now. There's a meet coming up in April if your interested? Link is in my sig below. You will be able to meet some of us and it's an opportunity to show your new purchase off.
  21. One of the cheapest and most effective things to do is paint calipers on front and rear brakes. Had red on my old silver IS200. You will be surprised how different it looks.
  22. Should be ok for growing tomatoes in this season.
