I was going to say the same as Steve.....if the looms are the same in the LHD car and both seats are electric it migh't work. All you would do is fit rhd driver seat in passenger side of LHD ect. Then airbags and seat belt clips would still be on the correct side. -

Sorry to see the pictures but at least you are ok. Regarding the tyres, I have heard loads of horror stories regarding fullrun Tyres. I myself had 2 fitted on my old vectra. After seeing some bad posts on them, had mine checked after only 4 months of normal use and both inner walls had cracks in them. So you can probably say it was most likely the tyre you had on spare.

Welcome to the club again( replied on your other thread). Which model manta did you have? I had a couple in my younger days. 1st one was a red hatchback GT/J, the second was a white GT/E coupe, loved it but alas the red devil ate it LOL.

2mm on handbrake shoes would have lasted another 5 yrs or more and to break a caliper, must have been using a sledge hammer. Garages like that boil my !"£$
