  1. Welcome to the club! Have to admit I don't know if it was an option over here, might be worth a call to the dealer to see if it was an option in the UK as they'll know. Alternatively if they did all come with leather it's either been retrimmed or it's a Jap import, the Aristo S300 - unless it's the twin turbos in which case it's a V300 - telltale signs of an import would be buttons being in Japanese and a Toyota badge on the wheel.
  2. I don't know how muc it would cost for everything mate, you'd have to ask them for a price for all that, think Stav paid around the 200 mark for the cambelt? You may as well get the idlers and tensioners done, I replaced the idler pulley but that was it on mine pulley wise as the rest are all ok :)
  3. No mate they're some proper random Japanese alloys, CreateJapan Astromax 1 v2: http://www.cji-federal.jp/astromax/astromax1-v2.html I'm looking forward to getting some clean pics of the car to be honest, when I cleaned them up they look nice in the sun and these are so easy to clean it's untrue - easiest alloys to clean in the world! Going to get them cleaned in the morning and then dry them and get the centre caps on :) As for Lam's car yeah it's awesome, I've got the same suspension as that was the car they had the HSD HR coilovers made up for when Phil Morrison had it, while they were changing my wheels over today I had a nosey and there is still a LOT of room to go low with the HSDs, way more than I'd ever be using!
  4. They can get either mate, usually they just get the OEM parts in mate but if you want Blueprint they should be able to get those too, you can even supply your own. And they've worked on a LOT of IS' over the years, think it's fair to say they've installed more superchargers than any other garage or tuner in the UK :) Just make sure to ask for Fat Simon when you call ;)
  5. I'd guess at around a bar you'd be looking at around the 350 mark at a total guess? As for the leather, yes it is, the details can all be found on these two links: http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_J_2004_TOYO...BEPVZ_7101.html http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_J_2004_TOYO...BEPVZ_7102.html As you can see it's a very expensive option though.
  6. Aye Charlesworth for sure, if you're near the M6 you could go up that way I guess?
  7. Thanks fella! I don't think I could afford to give this car the VIP treatment all around, I'm looking forward to seeing a guy called Lam's car on Club Aristo as he has all the stuff in there, check out his garage here: http://clubaristo.net/forums/vbpicgallery....o=view&g=68 That car is immense! I do still fancy the puddle lights though even though everyone thinks they're chavved up As for the height I'm in two minds mate, I know it needs to go lower to look right, but I need to keep it high enough so that I can still get everywhere with ease as when I had the IS lowered that would sometimes be a pain that I couldn't get over certain speed humps without it sounding like I'd just torn a hole in the engine!
  8. I've always liked that sleeve design that Clooney had in Dusk til Dawn, one day I'll get the balls to get it done!
  9. Mate try contacting these fellas and see what they say: http://www.speedwells.co.uk
  10. They offered the 17s on the GS polished as standard, they looked fantastic, nearly bought a set on eBay a while back as I think they look awesome but they're proper hard work to keep clean and the finish didn't last too long from what I read the guys on here say, don't know what finish they are though? I don't normally advocate chrome but that's another option if the metal itself couldn't be polished up to a high enough standard, get the chrome plated if you can do that?
  11. Don't know if you'd get the finish you're after on those alloys - are you just talking polsih them to a raw mirror finish as that would need some serious maintaining, but would look good I reckon!
  12. That's crazy ain't it, he could have had a perfect job for the same what he paid, I don't get it when people try and cut corners! My mates tend to stick for the single colour stuff but I really like the multiple colour designs, that must be proper difficult though?
  13. When we went on the Toyota factory tour there was a bloke fitting doors and at one point he didn't know we were there and whacked it with this big hammer, was well funny as half the tour went deadly silent at that point, it was quality as he just stood there and shut it and it was absolutely perfect :D
  14. Oh yeah sorry mate I realise that, I just wondered how much one of these kits costs versus to get that cross tattoo done at a proper place? Just had a quick nosey and they're coming up 50 quid upwards, how much would it cost to get a tattoo done like that professionally nowadays? Just meant it's a false economy them trying to save by doing it themselves really, nasty results too!
  15. That is proper minging!!! Think getting a tattoo is going on my list of stuff to do before I hit 40 :D I never knew you could get kits off eBay though, how much does it cost to get a tattoo professionally done compared to the price of one of these kits as a matter of interest? Don't worry I ain't trying it myself, just wondering how much they're trying to save when they butcher themselves like this?
  16. A lot of it's down to the offsets of the wheels Kris, never had to roll my arches when I had the IS on it's arse :)
  17. Great news, she's alive :D This is going to be putting out some big power mate!
  18. It's going to look the absolute dogs danglies with the steering wheel done to match - TRD used to do wheels like that and they were an absolute fortune, always wanted one! Looking forward to seeing it with the new wheels mate :)
  19. Oh blimey I thought you were going about another inch or two lower than that from what you'd said - didn't realise that was 70mm drop! You'll be fine there mate, I was lower than that in the IS and that's what was causing my problems! Car look fantastic fella anyway, I seriously love that interior - where's that from?
  20. A lot of the Aristo lads go down the route of the UK Supra TT which had big four pots. Tempted myself by those. Another option is the LS430 calipers as they are also much better than we get on the GS & IS :) Not sure about the new models though to be honest.
  21. @ Ally, not really mate, there's a guy on Club Aristo that has a black one that's gone fully down the VIP route and it's got all the toys, sounds amazing and I can't wait to see some pics of it as it's got no end of JP and Garson products in there! @ Parthiban - didn't get it in the end mate, it had a ding on the roof of it so I'll keep my eye out at a later date. That means the big chuff off spoiler is staying. Saying that it's not really that big though. I do really fancy the carbon boot and bonnet but they're just silly money!
  22. Nothing major mate, was fancying another boot spoiler which is much smaller which would mean having to have the existing one filled in and resprayed etc, as it turns out though the one I went to pick up had a ding in it so I passed and came home without it - that's a job saved :D
  23. I know looking at that last pic I do too :o Just agreed a price on a flat bumper so off to pick that up, then I can always use that as a base at a later date when I trackdown a little roof spoiler for it :D £40 for a boot - was thinking of getting a carbon one but that'll do me - there's a kink in the one that's on see that does my head in :(
