  1. Yeah I've got those at the sides of the doors mate, just wondered how I'd get from the back of the console down under the carpet there, that might be a bit of a nightmare I guess!
  2. LOL which site did you use to find that?!
  3. I love they way they disguise the new cars :D Just looked up the reg on the MID database but it doesn't tell you what it is! It's got a big arse end, maybe a Chevrolet?
  4. I know and thinking about it the car was on the low boost setting, no power mode as the console was out and four turbos in the boot That probably didn't help as I was tinkering with the controller on the way back too - got my high setting done as well now, seems to drive ok but still not as aggressive as it was with the bleed valve fitted Gonna be happy days when it's back to normal, back seats are going back in tomorrow, first time in about two months thinking about it!
  5. Which bit do you mean mate, the ice white numberplate bulbs?
  6. I'm thinking about laying some AV cables from the glovebox to the boot, just wondered if it's possible to get breakout boxes with the 3 RCAs on one end going to a panel with three connections on, the yellow composite video, and left and right audio? I'm going to pop into a local store tomorrow to see what they have but just wondered if any of you knew of anything like that please? The problem is I don't know what they are called so I can't find them on Google, this is the kind of thing I've after for the glovebox end: And then have that breakout say 2 meters away into the connections I need? Thanks in advance
  7. Just wondered how the carpets are held down on these cars, I'm wanting to run a cable from the glovebox to the boot and tidiest way would be under the carpets, just wondering how easy it is to get them up?
  8. Cheers dude, just waiting for some sun, can see we're not gonna get enough, was thinking to myself when we were at Toyota how much more paint i've got to polish now :o Might do that numberplate in the morning, looking forward to seeing how that one turns out :D I think half the reason it was so bad was that I'd had the battery off while I was swapping the front seats over so as not to upset the airbag computers, so the ECU has had to relearn, it's all good, hopefully won't need to be taking that off again anytime soon!
  9. I realised I filled up about 5 miles away from Toyota, and by the time I'd done 30 miles I was down a quarter of a tank already, you can guess how I was driving home Looking forward to seeing the wheels on the motor mate, they're going to look good :D That wheel was a mixture of metallic particles from the backs of the pads as I'd absolutely killed the back pad and hadn't realised it - I'd assumed it was bonded on but hadn't ever attacked it with the acid, that just goes to show how good that stuff is when it's required though :D When the pad was taken off a day or two after it had gone some of the backing pad was worn away! I'd very nearly gone and got some brick cleaner to see what would happen
  10. That was this afternoons job, it is actually cleanish now, it was clean but it frigging rained on my 5 mile journey home but the exhausts are shiny as are the wheels, if it's dry in the morning I have a plan of getting the wheels polished and then beginning the paint restoration process, I'm gonna need 3 days for that though as it takes me ages :D
  11. I honestly don't know first hand mate, to be honest I've not really heard anything bad about any ARBs on the IS, everyone who gets any sort loves them :) I think the TTEs would be the least rigid out of the three though, but still a massive improvement over stock. The more rigid you go the more your backend will skip out.
  12. By the way what polish is that mate? Got some RimWax (so many jokes in that name) I got came through today which I'm going to try on these bad boys :D
  13. Good to see you mate :D Did that one clean up with the acid then, thought it would be ok :) Amazing how that happened in a day when I'd killed the pad and not noticed what had happened! They look ace mate, just too narrow for my car, got the car cleaned on the way home so it's clean again now, just need a few days so I can blitz this thing myself :D
  14. Yeah the C-Ones are thought of very highly mate, Steviewevie has a set and loves them! As for the dealer try a slightly different approach as that's sometimes a blanket answer when they can't be arsed to look something up - just ring up, and ask for a price for the following part number: PZ439-C0722-00 If they can get it on the system they'll get the price and a delivery date straight away :)
  15. PMSL That link is actually his cousins GS mate, he's got one of each :D
  16. Even that's gonna be pushing it then I guess! One other option, crazy as it sounds but will probably cost a mint is get some from somewhere like TakaKaira in Japan and get them to use expedited shipping via EMS, last thing I got from Japan took two days :D Otherwise, just get the ones you've ordered off Dave and make another trip to the garage at a later date as things always go wrong when you're in a rush!
  17. To be honest you'd be very lucky to find anywhere in the country that keeps these in stock - what sort of delivery time did Dave tell you? If you really want them quick then go for the TTE cars from the dealer, they should be able to get them in a reasonable time, failing that order them direct from TTE!

    Number Plate

What about a dateless plate with the numbers 147 as well? I very nearly bought L8X TT for the twin turbo reference but someone else beat me to it! I really liked a plate that one of the lads on here had, L3X TC, a reference to Lextasy and that's an ace plate, was going to get an alternate version of that and then twigged on the last three letters and driving a big black Lexus (well technically a Toyota) with tinted windows and an ecstasy related numberplate and realised I'd be forever getting pulled up and would never be able to buy flour from Tescos again
  19. Actually I don't know if you'd be interested but I have just removed the leather interior in my car so I have that for sale? Congrats on the car though, they really are nice, Chris got into mine earlier and the first thing he commented on was how comfortable the seats are in these :D
  20. Welcome to the club mate :) There are actually a few drifters on here but don't worry, the vast majority of these cars are owned by people who wouldn't even know what drifting is
  21. Anees has one for sale here mate: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=120379455287
  22. Your tongue is crazy fella, bet your mrs loves it though Some awesome work there :)
  23. A polish off It sounds like something all the posh kids do at boarding school :D Met up with Chris earlier and we were on about the height, we've got plenty of room to play with, just need to be careful as it's my daily driver so need to be get into awkward car parks and stuff but it should look much better soon :) I did the pipes with a brillo pad as suggested by Lance and they look great, just had it washed quick and they've come up lovely, only problem is I'm going to have to get down and do the rest of the backbox now as they look shocking in comparison :o
  24. :D No mate nothing that complex, just fancied a little lip spoiler like I had on my IS and like you can see in this pic:
  25. Welcome to the club :) Get in touch with Dave Ellen at Prolex UK (www.prolex-uk.com) as he's the only person I know of to have brought in a new IS (he brought in an IS350) and so can help with what you'll be trying to do as well as where to get it converted etc. Good luck!
