  1. Oh yes, could start a whole new thread on the state of this country. lol indeed..
  2. Yup that would be fun. Lucky for people in IRL, you can import those easily.
  3. They that’s a good place too. Maybe Velcro again, means it doesn't make it too permanent.
  4. lmao at the 3400w amp. Fusion don't sell those in Halfords... maybe you read the power reading which is meant to fool you into thinking its 3.4kw... Maybe 340w... but still, make sure your power wire is sufficent and the stock battery will NOT cope with the extra demand your amp will take, there just about enough to power a standard car!
  5. I love it, not very practical but awesome B)
  6. Robin.... You might want to get an exstension cable for the Commander, i bought one with my new Power FC... means i can pull it out with 0.5m of slack... Then i just velcro it back in... Another idea for the Power FC, get the phone holder moulding for the IS200 sold on E-bay, and put the Commander in there for better viewing when driving :)
  7. I may just stick to the NA mods I've got planned I think it will be wee bit better once its all dialled in, well i hope so Zees turbo was little better, but still it was quite poor..
  8. You've had a bad ordeal, for that i'm sorry. And no i am not up anyones backside, i just don't have a clue what the hell some people are talking about when refering to your car, only from what i've been told by some people i think @ JAE 2006.... Its all he said, she said... So i thought i'd ask what you had done to make it such a 'hot topic' for bashing... I still want to know if you knew its running condition when you picked up the car, if you don't want to answer no skin off my nose!!
  9. Yup, thats the idea :) Its not designed to 'bring in more air' Its main purpose is to reduce ambient temp if the air intaked. TBH, this isn't actually a huge problem on the 3S-GEs, the hottest part, Manifold, is on the otherside of the engine
  10. I see.. Did they know it ran that bad and still gave it to you? I personally wouldn't of accepted it at time of collection, if they said it wasn't right they shouldn't have released the car back to you. Unless you just took it being oblvious to the above?
  11. With door open it makes the contact. Yep looks like it.. Well thats what i checked out first the bonnet switch, all seems ok. When its closed or opened the 3 way LED emits the correct colour for its given position, Same with the boot latch. I'll guess i'll check each door switch out. Been raining all day so thought i'd check if anyone else had the problem before i went hunting further :)
  12. What are the offsets? When i had my wheels made, they said +45mm and +55mm would only work. This is correct without needing mods, but now i am running +37mm and +43mm with alot of mods :D
  13. Interesting thread this... What did TDi fit to your car?
  14. Guys... On my instrument, the light to show that a door is open is permanently illuminated. I checked all the door sensors and there fine (with my multimeter) checked the bonnet one, ok, and boot one, ok. Obviously my interior light comes on which i've moved to 'off' position save me flattening my battery. So, i'm guessing its a fuse? Or maybe related to my alarm possibly. Anyone had this problem?
  15. Blitz s/c.... It could do with some work, but if you want aggressive power delivery its that, in handfulls. Zees car was producing 280hp. The s/c kit out of the box will give you around 265-280hp, depending on other mods. There isn't a boost/pulley upgrade, unless its custom. I have a custom pulley machined giving me around 0.65bar. Biggest problem is the Alt to Crankshaft belt. The amount of stress that is put on the belt when the clutch on the s/c is engaged means it eats belts. The best way to overcome it breaking is to set the tension to the tightest possible. It has to be very tight indeed, and after 1000 miles, Tighten it... this way it will last. But the way the power is put onto the crank is triggered by the TPS (throttle position sensor) you can set it from 5% to 90% throttle. Meaning, clutch will be engaged on the s/c pulley at you given TPS Setting. You Don't want to have it @ 5%, you'll leap 30ft fwd without a blinking an eyelid, the torque is savage! The problems i have is i don't have the Access ECU Upgrade. Meaning, when you purchase the s/c kit, you are meant to send your Stock ECU to Blitz so they can effectively chip it for positive boost pressure. With a Stock ECU, it hasn't got a clue how to react to Boost. It will overfuel, underfuel... basically run like a bag of plop. With this you won't have any issues, but would require it to be put back to stock if u removed it. Now i have a Apexi Power FC (turbo version) i can dial it in. And pull upto 20-30hp more with some exstensive mapping. I've done pwr runs of 230rwhp (280hp) and thats with ***** poor fueling... like injectors running @ 120%!!! I'm hoping for over 300HP, with a mountain of torque to boot. Oh, say 'cya!!!!!!!' to your fuel consumption.... 14mpg at best when on boost.
  16. Ebay. Search for 3m Carbon Fibre sheets. Must admit, not the easiest stuff to get hold of.
  17. Its useless unless you converted it to UK Spec. I changed that part of the center console to a twin drinks holder, but now is place for my Power FC Commander :D
  18. Fensport aren't any cheaper than going to Chris S :) But yes, All parts are available in 2-3 days from Toyota.
  19. Welcome to LOC. Saw pictures of the car on Detailing World Forum. Defo not a fan of the exhaust, I think it looks But hey its your car! If you want something around 260hp reliably... I'd look at the greddy turbo kit, it costs very little and will get you 265-280hp. S/C is more expensive and requires you to change your driving style. If you want very aggressive power then it might be good option, but remember they eat belts and will severely hammer the stock clutch, so that would require upgrade same time. Expect 265-280hp.
  20. When it does that, check the tension and see if there any cracks etc... sometimes its just the case it needs more tension. But i'd side on just changing it, only few quid!
  21. I think Chisaing was using one of these. I think it plugs into the OBD port?
