    Tyres....

Falken FK-452s. Not a fan of them, prefered my Dunlop Sport Maxx's...
  3. I had a Civic Type R for a week, living with it i can tell you the fuel consumption is very similar on the Altezza. Performance wise the Type R also has more go at lower revs. The VTEC sounds So much nicer. Handling the Type R owns it too. Thats how they fair stock. But given some mods the RS200 will handle superbly... put some coily's on it and your set...
  4. Looks good. I covered mine with real Carbon Fibre sheets. Its that type of metal which is a pain to keep streak print free.
  5. Guys, Does anyone know where the Bleed valve is for the coolant system/heater system? I think, infact i believe i have an air lock in heater, thats probably why it got silly hot without fan going on today.. I can hear the water when i start the car up almost flushing about.. noticed it before, but today it was probably more so.. Its effectivly causing hot spots in the head/block, so risk warping head and blowing head gasket! I just don't know where the bleed valve is :( TIA
  6. The reason for the excessive dust is in the compound of the brake pad. Less dust means there harder compound, and more means there softer. I get about the same amount of brake dust with my BBKs as i did with my std. brakes, and Brembo crossdrill/grooved with Axis pads.. Infact, i now get brake dust not just on the wheels, but half way down the car!!!! :o could be the 6pots then. ( this springs to mind: Ever see F1 cars when the brake and all that dust comes out? )
  7. Piece of cake to fit. Just follow the diagrams on the pic. Sorry to tell you Noel, it didn nothing to make it quieter :P S/C is 5 times louder, maybe she should hear mine then she won't mind yours so much
  8. Am, perhaps you could upload a pic of your car with the rear wheel camber as an example of large negative camber. Ok well on 17s, this was lowered don't know how much... maybe 80-90mm? That was around -3deg all round.. On the 19s, before i went agressive on the spacing.. Rears, shaved in those pics, front hardly touched, other than the tyre just rubbing the inserts and making room Now i have shaved rears, and Rolled and flared, same at the front. Rears are pushed out 12mm more from the above pics, and fronts 8mm. Cam on 19s is -2.5-3deg front, -3-3.5deg rear. Sure it looks good, but you will go through tyres in no time, like 4000miles tops! :o
  9. Yup, lower you go down the camber will go negative... Running pretty extreme offsets at the mo, (8x19s +37mm, 9.5x19s +43mm) but needed some major arch fettling
  10. per meter. All our cable has more strands compared to the competitors. In essence, 8AWG is 6AWG, 4AWG is 3AWG, 0AWG is 1/0AWG. We do std. sizes and Kollosus range :) Unlike some of the really thin stuff some people sell on ebay or around the net..
  11. Everyone i know who has tried EBC pads with OEM discs, hated them. (not talking about people with just Lexus's alot of other cars) I wouldn't use them based of the bad experiences others have had. If they work for you, thats great. But i wouldn't touch em myself. This is just my opinion. Besides, i have BBKs and am more than happy :D
  12. On the IS or MR2? I wouldn't ever touch EBC, but thats me :D
  13. I will need some 8AWG wire what colours do you have? 5000 feet might be a bit excessive though :D At the mo i have silver and blue. www.knukonceptz.co.uk (yes thats me)
  14. Looks good :) I spotted the BMW and mk5 GTi at the back :P
  15. If you need 8AWG, 4AWG or 0AWG wire, i can help with supply.. i have over 5000ft ;)
  16. Well looks like its hitting the big screen http://www.apple.com/trailers/paramount/wtc/

    Altezza

Yup it will be okay. You can get it from Toyota too, just need the chassis and vin numbers.
  18. I thought Mat said there wasn't going to be any IS500 :P
  19. How quick do you need it, and can you get it to California (Baldwin Park)?
  20. Well when FIA tried to shake up the grid more, since Ferrari's dominance was just hacking most of the spectators/teams off... did it work, nope. I'm sure they do try to even out the playing field, but Ferrari seem to bounce back everytime, along with schumi :D
  21. Thanks mate, hopefully soon it will run right too Rears mate. Defo not the front... I have 3 sorts of noises, front tyres rubbing rear tyres rubbing disc rubbing on the sheild?
  22. Did u have to clamp down the pistons on the calipers? If so i would give them a quick bleed, doesn't take more than 15mins!
