  1. I've got these :) It works, apart from the instrument lights
  2. Looks like an IS300 to me. C-west kit i think... http://www.takakaira.co.jp/asp/table.asp?i...fFfacBd`gCb
  3. Really nice project Barry, i like it alot :)
  4. Often is the case with getting fault codes, they send you on a wild goose chase! Something to do with the VVTi system..
  5. This exercise has been done before. Power Enterprise made a Super-Turbo setup using there rotary s/c kit and turbo kit. It didn't make it as a production piece, instead you can buy either Turbo or S/C from them, not sure why they never released the Super-Turbo kit, must of been some technicalitys. I have some pics somewhere..
  6. Hi Rob, You can adjust the TPS setting. If you wish to have boost come on with 20-80% throttle you can. I keep mine set @ 50%, meaning with 50% throttle at any given RPM the clutch on the s/c will engage and give you boost. I have a power run from Thor Racing i did sometime last yr, produced around 280hp (230rwhp) with stock ECU! and injectors... This was with custom pulley to raise boost from 0.45bar to 0.6bar. Car isn't running too well, got married recently so car took a back seat for a while.. but i'm getting it sorted soon :) Cheers. I would say mid 6s on 0-60... although if things are really maxed out and your running a light motor with a good chassis you could get into the high 5s... Torque gain is 60-70ft/lbs depending on other mods. You can get more though with a HKS F-Con Pro V or Apexi Power FC ECU... This will mainly allow you to tweek the both cams unlike the camcon controller only doing the one
  7. Only essential extra you require when fitting a t/c or s/c is uprated clutch. Its important you uprate the chassis too, either with lowering springs and sway bars, or coilovers. Both are TOTALLY different. You will defo have to adapt to a different style of driving with the s/c. The power delivery is savage on take off, and not smooth what so ever, If you want aggressive power s/c.... its progressive when your in a high gear on low RPMs...
  8. MacRS200 is correct. I have Apexi Power FC and larger injectors to go in. On stock ECU and no mapping of ANY Sort it produces 230rwhp (280bhp) with some mapping it should easily reach 300hp Some of the guys i know in singapore have run turbo and s/c's... they swear the s/c beats all the turbo setups which run upto limit of stock internals simply due to the torque of the s/c.
  9. Stock CR is 11 Seen as it has GT-RS Turbo kit, i'd be suprised if the internals weren't uprated. Those produce near on 400hp!
  10. Looks like its got all the right goodys, Mmmmmmm HKS GT-SS or GT-RS Turbo kit? most likely has uprated internals with that kit if its been installed for maximum performance :) Should be a fun car, hope you can give it the sweet fuel its map'd for :)
  11. custom made spacers on the rear. front ones were from local motor factors. I now run 12mm on the rear (with 9.5x19s) and 8.5mm on front (with 8x19s) i run longer studs too.
  12. Well this was mine with stock 17s.. Then with Sport Design 17s, with 8mm spacers rear, 6mm front.
  13. Believe me, mine was never that low on the rear. Front was lower half the tyre wall was tucked upfront. Rear the top of the tyre was just level for a nose down stance. I'd raise the rear if i were you, alot!
  14. I guess you got what you wanted. slammed on its arse... personally i think it looks like arse with it that low!
  15. I would go for the Turbo kit, drop the CR for some reliability then balance out the chassis to cope with the power.
  16. There will be a base map on the e-manage if of course it comes part of the kit, which i am sure it does. But never the less you need to map it. You can keep stock exhaust, but you'll loose a small percentage on the free flow of gas's.. Try HKS Silent Hi-Power for an exhaust, trust me when i say its quiet, it is.
  17. Check the lines and drain/refill the system. Also with car running open the cap and turn the steering to release any air bubbles.
  18. Then you have this problem, Under rough road conditions or heavy load you will get that nasty bang. I get it quite often but i always avoid potholes/draincovers etc... This problem can happen with any of the dual height adjustable coilovers (separate preload/height adjustor), but seems more prominent on the HKS/Greddy units which seem to have shorter shock bodys to increase suspension travel. What's happening is that the bumpstop on shock rod is not working as the limiting device and the upper a-arm is now the limiter (bad) because the shock body is too short to engage the bump stop before the upper a-arm runs out of travel. What you need to do is to re-lengthen the shock body by changing the ride height adjustment. If you want to keep it at the same ride height, dial out some preload. Where you running springs or coilovers? sorry but blimey, Mr Singh is back. You haven't been around in a while? Should we expect an update on your tezza soon? Hi. Not much been done on the Altezza. I have bunch of parts to go on, few loose gremlins to fix and we should be good to go for mapping. Cheers.
  19. I prefer the ride on my 19s to 17s.. I rub most of the time as i have a pretty extreme offset and drop combo...
  20. Take your foot off the right pedal, change before 3500rpm, you'll get good return.
  21. Takes about 1-1 1/2hrs. Change the 1 tensioner and 2 Idler pulleys. If the car has done over 70k I'd be tempted to change the water pump too.
  22. There are 2 supercharger kits for the 3S-GE Blitz which is Roots type. Power Enterprise a rotrex centrifugal The Blitz will require upgraded clutch, my OEM lasted all of but 40miles before it started to slip. Most advertised kits do not inc. the FMIC, expect it to be about £500+ more. The ECU will have to be sent to Blitz, Basically, they removed the speed cut, tweaked the fuel & ignition settings and added a trigger wire that connected to the clutch of the SC. I didn't do this (wish I did for the time being!) as I went with a Turbo Apexi Power FC (MAP Sensor) I also have pulley upgrade running around 0.65bar Boost on stock compression. 0.6bar+ requires bigger injectors and an uprated fuel pump isn't a bad thing either. Your driving style will have to change alot with this setup, its agressive and very very loud.
  23. They look good, i have 360mm and 6-pots on my Altezza, the stopping power is just incrediable. BTW, are the vains on the discs directional?
