  1. Oh missed its from a Lexus Dealer Got my car through work so maybe someone else can give more detail on the warranty you'll get. But i'd say if its through lexus you'd have no worries. Def drive it from cold though! Check the wheels and if they have any corrosion get them changed as part of the deal. And remember to look out for things that won't be covered (bought as seen) interior quality etc
  2. Interest in Kit 1 2 3 5. (Green) But I'm looking for a new speedo cluster at the mo (unless you've got a spare), so time is uncertain
  3. I'd go for the sport, but then the IS does look good in black... Drive them both from cold. as you don't want to find one has a really notchy 1st-2nd gear. I'd go for the sport...na SE....na sport Maybe a good bet to pay £50 for someone to come out and check them over.
  4. Don't worry about the milage mate... Its a hard choice... Do you think you'd use/like the Satnav? or be fussed over having the Sport? If it was me having two cars so near price etc. I'd go for which one has better service records, paint work, wheels, windscreen etc.
  5. Go for a UK version. been there, done that, got the big bill from them bodyshop who modded my blitz lip
  6. Bring him and his mates down to Top gear.. We can all say ello
  7. Keep ya mucky paws away from it!!
  8. Not consistant enough.. We gave 'em a damn good run though ... Lets just hope they go on and win Shoulda gone and **** himself!!
  9. Isn't the newer CD at the Top (Can't remember what my one looks like now! ) So if its an old one it must have been in storage for a looong time! (Or it isn't new)
  10. didn't they get your bumper and anything else thats needs to be resprayed?!
  11. MAPS Detailed Wide See you there at 1pm then!! Ohhh I can't wait!!
  12. Looks nice! B) Slap on tints and some alloys and its just like the other one
  13. They've got to prove you were there Pete. Even if it was "It couldn't of been me I was watching the Football with my Other other and a mate". Its two things. 1 your insurance would love to take away your NCB, and 2 some git is after a bit of repair work. As long as you can put a place and some people to that time there's nothing to worry about.
  14. The same sort of thing happened to my sister. In the end they have to prove it was you there, and that their/your car has damage from this happening. My sisters was in the end found out to be a White Van driving around on her Peug's plate. I was asked to prove that I was with my sister (if I was or not was a different story ) and was all ok. End of the day we found out they need to prove you are there. Either by damage which can 100% be linked to your car (black paint on their's "red" on yours). or otherwise (Wittness, speed camera etc) ..... Weren't we all at a mini meet that day??
  15. Always been Mr Bling, then!! B)
  16. Yeap, I'd go for Zee's one but I'm only planning to keep my car for a few years then maybe get the 300 or the new styled IS?
  17. Think it was about £480 odd, managed to get some out of work as I bought the car through them and the leasing firm.
  18. Still waiting for the nest bit of your car to fall off, and come my way! :P
  19. I took out the Extended waranty on my lex back in Feb just before I got around to putting my Eibachs on. I now have a slight creaking sound when going over speed bumps (drivers side front) I don't think its anything big, but I'm taking the car in on the 13th to have it looked at. ....... Should I change back from the Eibachs when I take it in. (And have a 4x4 gap for Topgear! ) (Pete have taken pic, and will send it to you afterwork)
  20. Zee's circle part (where all the cables connect) fits on top of the wheel arch, then a set of cables goes off from here to the various points, and another set grounds on to the "-" battery terminal. My one you take apart the terminal connector and bolt it straight onto the battery, and one lot of cables goes off from there. (see pic) I also had to chop about 6mm of the part the circle sits on, as it kept touching the bonnet. pic My one (£8!) zees
  21. I've got a few problems at the mo, like when I put in a quote the cursor vanishes! so I can't type .. (Freedom of speech!! ..... Or nothing worthwhile to say )
