A salesman way of sugar-coating an "issue". Have the dealer look at it. Same thing happened to my one when my company first leased it. Fixed and was ok.

Not sure on the fine details, but the new IS comes with a shorter shift. And if its anything like the Quickshift myself and others have fitted, you haven't got a chance of missing reverse!

Thought I'd chance it, and now its all fitted, got a few more cables so I may attach them to some random places :P Had a bit of a panic attack, as I turned on the car and thought I could feel static on my arm........................... It was the Air con blowing!!

My one turned up the other day.. And is slightly different to Zee's as the circle part attaches straight to the battery. Can I go from the battery to the parts that is listed (headlights, enging block etc) or does it have to be somehow attached to the cars body!??!! Edit: Also it pretty much touches the bonnet, is that bad? Should I change it to it fits the same as zee's?

I've taken my ones off in the past (not the lex) by sticking a screwdriver through it, and turning it off.

Did you find out how to disconnect it Mr Nicnac paddlewac? :winky: I've been trying to find a way of doing this as where I've got a quickshift fitted it takes some effect to misread that your in reverse. Beep drives me mad! * Whitie, ducks and awaits flack from other members * :eerrrmm:

What type and where have people got their Oil and Oil filter, also does the gearbox get filled from a different place? if so wheres the filler and the drain Cheers peeps

I like it though, it does seem that they got about 8 people to design different parts and then just mashed 'em together. B- could do better :D
