Do you have standard 17's in black under yours?

Mine went up staggering even from the BM in my sig last week. It worked out cheaper to cancel the policy and take a new one out with the same company so there was no cancellation fee.

Have you tried Lexus Nottingham? That's closer to you. Or Derby or Leicester Give them a bell and see who comes out cheapest and is most convenient to get to.

I'd ring Lexus Birmingham up and ask for an explanation as to why they charge more than double compared to Lexus Sheffield.

Maybe yeah, I did a few motorway trips in between but I do expect 20MPG round town. All I use it for is dropping kids at school atm which is a 6 mile round trip twice a day so two cold starts. I was getting this from my 5-Series BMW on the school run if that cheers you up?

I've just bought one and £40 filled it half from when the light came on and I've done 210 miles on that. I don't drive heavy footed though.

The other two I have now added to my eBay list :) I can't believe prices of winter tyres atm (I know it's the wrong time for buying) I bought a set of Continental Contiwinter contacts with 7mm tread 4 or 5 years ago for £112 delivered. I looked at some 18's but there weren't many coming up and I really need winters on now as I can't get the thing off the drive and the BMW is in bits. Bought some standard 17's today for 80 quid. Need painting but they are all round etc. Might paint them black so the car doesn't look the same throughout the year. I need to google some picts for a blue IS with black wheels...

These are the only ones coming up at a slightly reasonable price. Wrong time a year I know... Just sold mine for next to nowt with alloys and now I have to spend more than double the amount on new ones. Should've changed cars in summer haha

I take it that 225 45 17 would fit the standards 17's OK Matt?

My misses WILL kick that off at some point if I mount it there...... I thought about fitting it on the top dash where the tray is but I'm likely to retrofit OEM NAV next summer. I'll have a look in the box if there are different mountings too. Stuck it on the trim before (pict) but the trim seems to be one with the dash in the IS?

Anyone have a picture of this installed? Have had this kit in my BMW for years but can't decide where to stick the display or the remote.

I know what you're saying Matt but I don't want light scattered everywhere and blinding people. I'm looking into how much metal needs to be 'modded' before I get them. Regarding the interior that's only a matter of time before it will be swapped for all black. I have two kids (2 & 5 yr old)....

Not sure about the wheels. They're nice but I quite like the 18 aeros. Got outbid on a set of 16's with winter tyres fitted so I might have to source some 18's and wrap some winter rubber round the ones that are on the car ATM. Rather busy breaking the BMW so not had time for much. Haven't even fitted my parrot kit in the Is yet or even looked at how to rip the dash out.... I'm hoping my xenon lights from the BMW sell so I can get Shorty's IS300 lights as the candles in mine are ridiculous.

Not very good pictures still but at least it's washed. I'll try and take some more when I get a minute and change the signature picture!

Cheers Steve, Just spotted them. They are the same as I had on a Rover years back. Ill have a look if I can find out on how to adjust them. Mine did come with a spoiler. I'll have a go today and report back. Thanks again

The boot lid on my car doesn't feel like it has any springs and feels very flimsy. It stays open but if its past 90° it'll just shut. If I open it quickly the lid bounces at the top and shuts again. Hope this make sense.... Any ideas?

As per title really, anyone know where the reverse parking sensor beeper is located. I'd like to expose it a little as the reverse select beep is louder than the PDC?

I don't mind it beeping but the reverse Warning thing is louder than the PDC beeper. I need to rip the a pillar trim of anyway soon so ill have a look on how to make it a bit quieter. Or expose the PDC one more to make it louder....

I have the factory fitted parking sensor on mine but the beeper for reverse is louder than the beeper for distance.

I had a similar problem with our Celica. It uses the same pump for headlights and screen. Headlamp washers didn't work but the screen wash did. Bought a second hand pump for a couple of quid to try and it was the pump that was at fault. As mentioned by someone above it has a reverse function.
