  1. as they are not oem springs are they for your model of car.. i assume its a mk1....also how much and where did you get them... i dont suppose they are for a std gs300 not a sport ??? craig
  2. o.k perhaps i should have looked at my lights first...duh it looks like i will not be able to use them because 1. theres not enough room between the two lights.. 2. the main light goes up to the top of the lens so no room there either.. craig

  7. well walking around a car boot sale today i spotted some universal corner splitters.. and well you know ya just haf ta dont ya... so for £15 i did...

  9. well you have to start by taking out your headlight units... then heat up the mastic between the glass and rear unit.. so you can sepperate the 2 once you have done that its a case of siliconing them in place around your 2 lights inside and making a little hole in the back of the unit to put the cable though then using silicone seal the hole and cable so that you dont get condensation inside the unit... the with black mastic you have to seal the glass back on.. craig

  12. well i have gone back to black.. hammerite smooth gloss like the last one i made... with the sun on it ...it still looks silver.. :D now do i leave the badge off or put it back on... bearing in mind i have a trd badge comming which i might put on it near top left of grille i think craig
  13. i will second the grisoft AVG 6.0 anti virus.. it protects everything and is free plus its auto updates free.. so far has found a lot of virus's trying to attack pc i find that its not worth the money buying the well known versions as the people that generate virus's tend to now make them attack the antivirus program first.. craig
  14. well after paul (norkep) fitted his home made ones o.k i have ordered a set for my car but white ones instead of blue (less risk of being pulled) lol and that good man paul is going to give me a hand fitting them a J.A.E thats if i can holod on till then these ones craig

  20. ermmm my shift button does not work..lol you dont need to push it it to move stick... well i dont think so... awww now you got me thinking maybe i just automatical do it and dont realise... got to go check now..lol
  21. I want to change my shift knob as the leather is wearing and a new one costs £100 eeekkk so I got thinking.. I never use the O/D button on the side so can i pull out the wiring though the stalk and re-locate it using a swich in the wood panel like the ECT switch then use a manual replacement type knob instead.. what do you think would this be possible.??? craig
