  1. i will miss the rear seats not folding and i dont know i will get 3mtr lengths in my car where in the IS its no problem
  2. using the lexus essential care servicing i would stay with lexus £185 & £375 and dont forget this includes the hybrid health check , wash & vacuum and a better looking stamp in your service book i know i would rather see the lexus stamp over the halfords stamp
  3. i am working my way through the lexus range in october 2013 i bought my 1st lexus a CT luxury (1 yr 10 months) in august 2015 i bought my 2nd lexus an IS300h luxury (2 yrs 8 months) in april 2018 i'm on my 3rd lexus an IS300h F Sport (2yrs 5 months) in september 2020 my 4th lexus the GS300h i dont think i could afford anything better in the range after the GS as i dont like the Suv range except for the RX and thats too much for me.

  8. Good afternoon to all on friday i am picking up my 1st Gs300h its on a 66 plate from lexus sheffield ,i currently drive a 17 plate IS300h F Sport and have heard so many good things about the GS i decided to change my car to one, on friday it will be the 1st time i have seen it but i am sure i wont be dissapointed , my IS 300h has been a great car to own and the black metallic looks great here is a picture the dealer sent me as the car came in only 2 days prior to me enquiring about it and no pictures had been posted on the web site.
  9. measure the diameter of a tyre and see if this size will fit in the wheel well then place a straight edge across the top of the wheel well and take a measurment from the bottom of the wheel well to the underside of the straight edge and see if this distance is greater or equal to the width of your tyres if your tyres are too wide you could always panel the boot floor therefore raising it to give you the depth for your spare to fit under the boot carpet.
  10. just found a picture of the lock in my IS's boot door
  11. yes there is a lock in the tailgate for you to use in case the battery goes flat have a look under the lip thats arrowed in the picture and you will see the key slot i think its on the passenger side it will dirty as most people dont know its there and its never cleaned
  12. looks like you have a new full time roll tallying up the scores for the dealership votes
  13. lexus stoke has given me the best hand over going into a side room having some drinks and then going into the handover room for the car, the car was actually under a cover and the car was immaculate.
  14. here is an advert for a used running light if you have a look at the images you will be see the type of plug you will be looking / feeling for
  15. the code that's erased must be like a pairing / identifier code that the car gives to the key this will stop the rolling code from possibly unlocking any other car as the pairing / identifier code and the rolling code must be the same on boths sides
  16. i bought my car 2nd hand it was 11 months old and on a pcp and what lexus dont do is document any damage on the vehicle when you took ownership of it ,this is very important incase you hand back the car as you will get billed for ALL damage even the damage before you owned the car or the car should be prepped to a standard that lexus would accept if you returned the car now
  17. hi give this company a try https://www.synetiq.co.uk/
  18. when the dealer gave the previous owner a PX valuation the price would of been reduced due to the scratches on the body and the state of the alloy wheels so they should have the money to repair the damaged areas personally i find you can do a far better job of getting your car looking good over the dealer as they get a 3rd party in to give the cars the quickest clean possible i have never been happy with lexus pre delivery prep
  19. here is a link for the essential servicing https://www.lexus.co.uk/owners/servicing-and-maintenance/lexus-essential-care/#hero at the bottom choose the service guide and download it minor or major it will list every item thats checked / replaced
  20. forget about the dealer they are useless for most retrofits there will be a few dealers that know what they are doing and are knowledgeable but generally if it isnt in the lexus repair manual then it cant be done and thats the answer you will receive go to a 3rd party installer of parking sensors they will be able to connect them so the sensors only work at slow parking speeds
  21. dont forget to try the link i posted or give the link to your garage for them to try.
  22. here are a few links for installers in the sussex area https://caraudioinsussex.co.uk/parking-sensors https://www.highdowncaraudio.com/parking-sensors-worthing.html https://www.soundsecure.co.uk/index.php/products-page/parking-sensors i hope this has helped you although i have never used any of them so no recommendations
