    i had a 17 plate F Sport IS300h and that had been awarded the extra £320 per annum all the 17 plate and newer cars fall into the £140 tax bracket i believe my F Sport was £42000 when new i would of thought the premier would be in the same bracket.

    ask what the road tax will be for the IS you may have a shock, if before any discounts the car's value exceeded £40k after the 1st April 2017 you will be given the pleasure of paying an extra £320 per year on top of the road tax for your car (£140) if you pay 6 monthly then your road tax will be circa £488 per annum, you will pay this upto and including the 6th years road tax renewal then from the 7th year you wont be liable for the £320 just the cars road tax of £140.

    i think its £80 for a 1off alignment check and adjust or £125 for the geocare with the condition the roads are in these days its really easy to knock the alignment out with potholes being everywhere. if you pay for a single tracking check / adjust you have a 30 day period where you can go back to kwikfit and have the tracking checked and adjusted foc so thats really good aswell

    if you divide the £125 by 8 =£15.62 per alignment for 4 wheel alignment then you know all your wheels are pointing in the right direction, the last time i used national tyres their alignment setup came from the ark and not the best ,the hunter system is equal to any oem manufacturers systems so it is absolutely spot on and well worth the money.

    1) for the aircon cleanse buy yourself an aircon airbomb they are around £10 15 minutes to complete it yourself put your fans on full speed with recirculate & a/c on then press the button on the can get out of the car close the door & windows and wait. 2) at kwikfit they have a geocare package for £125 for this you get 4 wheel alignment using the Hunter tracking system and your car can have the geometry checked and adjusted up to 8 times in a 2 year period at no extra charge https://www.kwik-fit.com/wheel-alignment

    yes same here paul, i jacked my car up and set the alarm off, it made me jump as i hadn't thought about the IS having an anti jack sensor fitted

    under warranty the ventillation unit needed to be changed after asking when my car would be coming in for the repair i became bored after 4 weeks of no date , so i spoke to the parts department and what a surprise NOTHING had been ordered in the next few days i had a call with a date. loose centre console.mp4

    i can certainly recall the smug buggers name his initials are PS he was in service in the main showroom they also scratched the body of the car and left 50% of the screws out of the centre console and i found loose panel trim clips behind the carpet. the final outcome was for me to NEVER ask them to look at my car NOW thats what i call customer service 2017 get it from all crap dealerships

    here is a link for you i know its not of a lexus but in principle its the same as i feel you may have the same issue a sticky shutter.

    hi Patrick and welcome to the forum if your car has projector headlights you'll probably find the shutter in the headlight isnt working properly and staying open hence blinding oncoming traffic

    do you have the premium nav or the standard nav the standard nav will have a dial control if yours is premium you should have an micro sd card and can purchase one online .

    if we didnt drive hybrids then keeping the obd adapter plugged 24/7 wouldn't be an issue with the 12v battery having a larger capacity to start with mincey you have answered my question about obd adapters thanks to your thread

    i totally agree with you shada , i'm not a fan of any Suv's style of vehicle and in the lexus line up the only one i like is the Rx which is out of my spending price bracket and as far a EV's go i dont like them, even if you could have an IS as an Ev i wouldnt have one

    Hi Colin do you have any images of your seat showing the issue as you maybe able to just have a repair to the cover instead of replacing it
