    Have to check it as still got battery.once was told that battery can be repaired by filling with distilled battery water and left to charge overnight as that will repair dead cells. If this true or just a story as I know repair it properly has to b stripped and cells replaced in factory. Has anyone repair their old battery?????

    It had factory battery Panasonic one Toyota made in Czech Republic On my is220d had to reset windows to auto open and shut after changing battery but this time no resetting required. Only thing it reset is sat nav disc

    Thanks already checked it but I got Toyota for 91.19 was 102 gave me discount plus can't really wait a week. They give 3 yrs warranty unlike bosch give 4 yrs

    Yeh definitely battery rac came said battery totally knackered probably had a bit power left, I used portable tyre inflater to pump tyre up which killed battery. What best one to use was thinking bosh. It's done very well as was original since 2009.

    Linus p answer to ur question about taxi pollution as you are right but we got 15 yrs rule now, most of them are coming off road now as all tx1 are gone next are tx2 which are coming off slowly, new electric taxi is out now but very pricy. My tx4 is euro 5 less pollution after 15 yrs will be off road too as mine is 2014. We getting more screwed then car driver as new levc taxi is 57k cash or lease cost you 65k in 5 yrs. It's electric and petrol but worse thing is still 15 yrs rule apply which is absolutely stupid as electric charge lasts only 70 miles and not practical if you haven't got drive to charge it.

    Just got car washed had puncture thought go get repaired and now won't start keep saying trc off @ seems llike starter wants to turn but won't. Check battery showing 12.2v I'm thinking should it b near 14v Any ideas Thanks

    I had my mot from kwik fit failed on incorrect alignment on both sides only cost £10 to correct alignment but £95 is understandable as xenon are gas filled bulbs. My Mercedes-Benz e320 cdi on 2002 had xenon bulbs and cost me £100 to replace. Life of these bulbs should be like 15 yrs as they claim so lexus should replace foc. Ats doing mot for 9.99 on Groupon voucher but unfortunately didn't do in Hornchurch branch so got my taxi mot'ed for £18 using Groupon voucher. Worth checking Ats as might do in your area.

    Look v nice but only problem black colour after washing it leave water marks as my taxi is black after having it washed I have to use leather again

    I purchased aukey dr02-r comes with rear camera too which I use for inside taxi so can record everything inside taxi which is v good. Got from Amazon for 100. Pic quality is v good. Wired in my fuse using hardware kit which includes piggy back fuse tap most new vehicle use micro fuses.v happy with it and comes with 2 yrs warranty only if purchased from Amazon

    Looking for dash cam for my taxi which is small and discreet bought nextbase duo found it too big returned it and looking at aukey dr 02 d which does back and front cheap on amazon for 100 but can't find hardwired kit and has any one bought aukey dr02 d with hardwired kit. On u tube got good reviews but no mention of hardwired kit. Can anyone shed any light on it thanks

    Only alignment of headlights extra 10 but it passed last yr but got a confession Groupon voucher for 19 wasn't good as was watching on monitor in waiting room as only thing they done was check underneath left it for 20 mins on ramp and gave me mot cert afterwards.

    Just got mot from kwik fit today and it's passed only thing needed was headlights adjusted were too high cost extra £10. Mot tester said some garages don't even test alignment of lights as obviously last yr they didn't even bother check alignments.

    Had my is220d done using Groupon voucher and then is250 from same garage for £19 passed both time not even advisory but if there is nothing wrong with car can't see them failing it.shame not on Groupon anymore this company called platinum in Hornchurch.

    Like sharpor said how does he know it's dpf did he give u code that says it's dpf could b egr blocked. Try cleaning egr urself it's quite easy good video on utube when had my is220d used video to clean my egr. It will only take about 1-2 hrs of ur time

    What r symptoms u getting eg limp mode.lights lit up. Could try wynes dpf cleaner it's quite good if it's not badly block should clear it. My is220d cost me 500 to get it cleaned from car surgeon in Birmingham but got is250. Try cheaper option first
