  1. Its been around for as long as I've owned and been looking for an ISF, 2 years +. Key Features: Coverage available on Lexus models up to 10 years old or 140,000 miles*. All policies include Lexus Roadside assistance with European cover. MOT Cover included to protect you from unexpected repair bills. Cover for car hire and hotel expenses if required.** Cover for the majority of parts and labour charges. Repairs carried out by an official Lexus Service Centre. Unlimited mileage cover. My only query is about the upto 10 years old bit.
  2. It's no mean feet changing the plates, I also took on this complex engineering task recently with the added complication of doing it in the dark. If you've mastered this @Flytvr the rack would've been a walk in the park
  3. The warranty is great value, obviously you expect to pay a bit more on tyres, fuel, Kemble coffee but the unforeseen costs could be a game changer with a car like this. Still hopeful that Lexus will offer warranty when mine expires in Feb 2018, although I expect they wont offer it at the same price of £895 for 24 months with a 10 year + car.
  4. Yikes.... Although these cars are well put together the warranty is worth every penny IMO. Glad you've got it fixed and are back on the road @Flytvr
  5. Fantastic choice of colour Neil I think I've already seen your car at the Bluewater meet last year?
  6. I was also tempted by those wheels but you got there first, great purchase for spare set of winter tyres rather than having to keep swapping the tyres back and forth. Or just as spares, great price! Always on the look out for useful parts. If money available it would be a long term smart more to stockpile some parts, they will only get more expensive as time goes by.
  7. Agreed, you could probably source a few second hand parts, there are front bumpers and the odd wheel on the bay (hoping it's for the right corner) etc. Considering the blue 11 plate cat C, was getting interest at around 16k there isn't much motivation for anyone to take this on IMO.
  8. Flicking through today and found this, maybe it will t cut out http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/322412084306
  9. I expect sales should be better in the spring, great choice for anyone looking for an ISF. First time in a long while a buyer can choose from all colours etc.
  10. That is a trek for you Neil but should be a good turn out!
  11. Amazing find @Big Rat I've had a look through, sadly can't find mine but enjoyed having a browse. Before I purchased mine I typed the reg into YouTube and I found a promo video by Lexus Nottingham with a video tour of the actual car from 2012. The wonders of the Internet.
  12. That's great info, thanks @Chuckie478. Although these cars are bulletproof, it does give added peace of mind. I only though this as the warranty just states for cars 'upto 10 years'. Maybe the cost will go up but good to know it could be an option.
  13. Last of the summer wine 3 😁 😁. G8 summit for the ISF at Kemble 😉 Next year I don't think it will be possible to take out the lexus extended warranty as they hit 10 years old which might affect the values of the 2008's what do you think?
  14. I think it's difficult to judge prices at the moment because there aren't many selling and prices could be artificially high. Cheapest one is the silver at 14.5k with 89,000 miles, seems like a good buy but it's still not gone.... The 2012 ones at 31/32k, seems high if you can buy an RCF for 36k on a 2016 plate.
  15. ISF is great value currently for the performance/experience, although the GSF (cheapest on AT 50k) and RCF (cheapest on AT 36k) are catching up!
  16. A demonstration of how to handle roundabouts in the ISF......
  17. Not so sure, there could be some links between Guinness and Lexus drivers....
  18. I think this suits the discerning, golf playing Lexus driver....
  19. Taken in the day with my wireless Netgear Arlo...
  20. Like the red, looks good. I think the led lights and kick plates is a good mod, especially if they're OEM from an IS.
  21. Here we go, sit back and enjoy this positive Lexus ISF review from EVO in 2007......
  22. My interior lights 2008, have a more yellow hue to the main light, wing mirror and door lights, the little spotlights in the front and back are the more modern cool white/led. It's popular in the US to switch all the bulbs to be the cool white Led so they all match.
  23. I imagine all the lights and kickplates have been modernised to the cool white/blue bulbs. These small mods are popular on the US forums/sites for the IS/ISF. You can buy the interior bulbs kits and kick plates on ebay. I imagine the wheels were also given a special finish during a refurb at some point. My alloys were a slightly lighter grey compared to the other ISF'S when we met at Kemble, previous owners preference. The only other different wheels I've seen are the US special edition ISF.
