It is legal if you want them to act as brake lights as long as they can still be used as fogs......if you turn on the fogs it will overide them being brakelights (diode).....many menbers have done this.......search for posts around 3 odd years ago (think it was one of scoprs post that explained it is legal).. @Matt......if you do just the tail light coversion its a straight forward swap of bulb holders and if I remember correctly i run a live from the number plate light to power the tail lights ....its not much chopping mate Here is a pic of mine Here...pics not the best quality.....camera phones have improved in the last few years hey

either aftermarket, in which case you will need single din adapter so it fits or you can normally find the stock ones knocking about on ebay or even LOC....... make sure you get the right one - CD loading at bottom...the later models had the cd loader at the top :winky:

Its the bulb mate......just do the conversion...all you need is the dual filament bulb holders and bulbs, very simple mod..i didnt go for the brake conversion as ive got an auto and foot is on the brake a lot more, mine are tail lights and fog!!.....there are loads of posts/topics on this run a quick search on fog mod and make your mind up!! :winky:

If you do need a new one the Bosch Asia Silver - 6DA is supposed to be a good battery, however when i changed mine a year odd ago the negative terminal would not fit properly :duh: twas very bizzare as many other members have got them fitted.....Costo sell them at a good price. I ended up going for the Halfords HD one

Toyo T1R are a very good allrounder....ive found they grip very well including in the wet......tyres on before geo :winky:

whats happened to it, has it never worked?......... you do know that you need to press and hold the button ?.or stopped working....is the battery ok in the key?

Id be careful on that mate.....it would probably show inside that the petrol has not been paid for, therefore you have filled and run ....@ Stev, would you not need to lift the nozzle for it to accept the club card?

Yeap T1Rs are the newer and better, mine need replacing, got them for £70 each including delivery, cant remember where from though .....where have you seen them for £74 mate?
