Morning all, just something that ive noticed, not sure if anyone has experienced this, for some reason the headunit wont turn on from the power button (not every time, only when it feels like it !!)......when this happens, i turn it on by pressing either CD or FM? anyone know what thats all about?

Im using the maxicosi without the isofix.....not sure if my car has got the isofix fittings, but didnt want it as it is so quick and easy to belt in/out anyway :).....in regards to switching off the airbag, i think even when switched off there is no certainty that it wont deploy, best to keep the little nipper in the back :winky:

Hi powerpuff mookie, yes it should be! :D SHAHZ from this board has emailed GromAudio few weeks ago for finding out if the interface works with his stereo from 2000 (bottom loading cd changer). The answer was positive, speak Grom said the black box will enable this stereo to control the iPod too without any problems :) @SHAHZ Have you already received you GromAudio interface? And is it working correctly? Right, finaly got a chance this morning to install this, and as Hando said take around 40 odd minutes.....although i havent actually learned how to use it properly it works both in simple & advanced mode...so confirmation for all with the older bottom cd loader it does work :) i set it up in the same way, easier to connect/disconnect from the tray under the switches rather than in the glove box.....Hando, on your ipod did you set the eq to flat? I had it on acoustic and it sounded crap...Dan did you manage to get your working?

Not sure if the same reason, but the reason I sold mine on was that there really was not a significant enough difference in brightness between sidelights and brakelights, which worried me slightly - having been rear-ended in the past, didn't really want to encourage it happening again. I only fitted one to start with, and the standard bulb was so much brighter that I thought it wasn't worth the risk...... Ahhh....you got any pics showing the difference Parthiban?

Lovely looking motor that mate, i say go look at it, and you will know if its the right thing to do once youve driven it.....out of curiosity, how much is it going for?

yeap undo the bolts for the battery bar, losen the bolts on the clamps (give it a bit of elbow mate, it will budge) take out old battery, replace with new, grease the terminals on the battery, replace the clamps and battery bar and your off B)....or just ask the dealers, probably wont charge to fit a battery?
